Sorry to resurrect an old thread... but I thought some of you might be interested that the UK court has ruled that the Siamese twins can be separated, despite their parents' wishes:

It was on the evening news tonight. I think it was the right decision and stand by what I said earlier in this thread.

Poor little Jodie. It sounds like she has a lot of pain and a really tough time ahead of her. I hope her prognosis improves...
Her parents are suffering, but look at it this way. They were spared the decision, and the inevitable guilt that would follow. They will (I hope) have a living daughter (that they would not have had otherwise) without the pain of making that awful choice.
