Esc74 ...... I also sell to Canadians, and the shipping charge is *always* more for them than the actual postage. [I use a fixed price for NA]
And not once, have I had a high bidder from Canada make a stink over it. Nor have I had anyone "attempt" to stiff me on the shipping amount, or by sending the high bid amount in Cdn funds. [unless it was converted first.
Sorry, all my problem buyers have been from the USA, yet you will never see USA in the title of my threads.
Not that I usually bother starting "rant" threads.

At the time, I just automatically he was one of my Canadian bidders who paid me their total amount due. (I get them all the time, so it's nothing shocking to get a Canadian MO in the mail).
I guess unless you do the volume of sales I do you just won't understand how unimportant the little "postmarks" are on an envelope or what kind of MO you get is.
You said you did not want to turn this into a canadian bashing thread, yet your comments prove otherwise and then asking to lock the thread right after one of those comments seems a bit tacky to me.
As far as your dilemna.
I make note of all postmarks and address's on payment for my own personal records and incase of any problems.
The postmark lets you know when the payment was shipped out, you should really pay attention to these little details to save yourself some headaches.
Edited to state : I am not a Canadian

Gee, I thought I was Canadian but I can't be because I have an answer. It is because Canadians are by far the second largest national group of eBayers.
