Thank you... my brain was making convoluted acronyms like Already Read Completely and A Romantic Crock. LOL

not SilkMoth anywhere but here
Unless it's something I wanna read, it don't have NO special value to me; I've seen reviewers bring BOX LOADS at one time to dump in used bookstores, and I presume that UNLESS the book becomes an important best seller with a SMALL first printing, that most ARCs are worth the paper they are printed on.
Zazzie --- Why don't YOU discuss the value of ARCs? Frankly, I'm someone who d-r-e-a-d-s finding signed first editions, because then ofcourse I *must* rescue them and help find their new home, but really, I prefer just typical non-fiction, and except for what I have read about bibliomaniacs I truly have no trace thereof, myself.
I mean, I know that I have to ACCURATELY describe a book - but I am NOT,NOT, NOT, not into the intricacies of points or ARCs or a whole buncha terms that I'd have to consult a good reference work first, before ever discussing.
Soooooo, I spose I'd conclude that MANY ARCs do not have any special value that I know of, but I can imagine that authors threw a h-i-s-s-Y fit about same when found at amazon, who pays them $5 each, for every single copy of every single book they've written if it sells through amazon.
