These pics were taken during the "slow" snowfall this afternoon before the heavy snow hit...you can no longer see the steps, the flagpole and the bushes/trees are so covered, they are bent over.....Gorgeous!

Looks beautiful! Here is Johnstown we are getting a little sleet right now on top of the 6 inches or so we got today, but it's suppose to change to all snow overnight and into Tuesday!

I'm in central NY (Seneca County) and I've heard forecasts for anything from 12 to 38 inches by the time this is over (it's a slow-moving storm and is supposed to hang around for a couple of days!) I think the worst is going to be east of us, from Albany over to the New England states, but we'll probably have 12-18".

I'm getting my batteries for my digital charged up to hopefully get some good pics to post on my web site

Also I'm supposed to get a tooth pulled tomorrow afternoon... maybe I'll get a reprieve

birdwatcher... The shovel thing gets me as well. We have had other significant snowfalls this season. Does everyone buy disposable shovels, use once and throw away?

Here in Coatesville - midway between Philly and Lancaster.

Hello, All!

I too, am from Johnstown - hello to my neighbors. I just wanted to remind everyone what happened the last time it snowed like this in March. Uhh ... hint 1936 ....

Yes, folks, the THIRD Johnstown Flood. (Many historians discount the first flood called the Pumpkin Flood in the early 1800's but not me) eBay has made me a maniac Johnstown Flood memorabilia collector.

Anyway, I just took this incredible shot of it snowing here. This is for all my friends who are basking in the sunshine - tomorrow your yard will still be yukky brown and green while ours will be a gorgeous untouched white.

Anyone want my kids to make a snow angel for them?

Here goes:

Good Luck to all who will be affected by this storm! Let's all hope it is the last snow for this season!

It is pretty but here in WI we are really tired of it.

Stay safe, warm & dry!

We're getting snow now in Western NY. Expected to be 10-36" in the next two days. We already have about 6 down as of 4pm Sunday. I have lots of catching up to do in between snowblowing! Yeah! Fix the house, read the HTML book etc... Mail? Who cares! We have email! Yippeee! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Here's the view from my front door at 7:30 this morning. It looks like we've got about a foot on the ground (we already had a few inches so probably got 6-8 last night).

This is just the beginning... tonight and tomorrow will be blizzard conditions and more snow.

I am here too in PA, not Indiana like everyone thinks. Here in the Endless Mountains, we have about over 6" with another 10-20" on top, these kids will never go to school this week.

Update... Looks like I underestimated our snowfall from last night. DH just went out and shoveled. On our sidewalk, which was completely bare and dry yesterday, there is now over a foot. Predictions for today and tomorrow are for an additional foot or more.

Hi Y'all,

I love all those snow pictures they are beautiful!!!!!

I live in Texas. We get very little snow here, 1-2 inches max,and ususally only for a few hours, and rarely lasts over 24 hours.
When we get a little snow you would think from all the warnings and school closings that we had gotten several feet.

Good luck to you all, stay warm, and as we bask in the warm Texas sun we will think of all of you.

Linda
