I've set up an album on Zing for pictures of the blizzard. I've left it open so anyone can add pictures to it.
Here's the album. I believe you'll have to join Zing in order to add pictures. Go to the album, click on "Edit" then "Add pictures to album".
Please caption your pictures with your location, date and time if possible.

*sigh* I was really looking forward to all of the snow here in Maryland. When I woke up Sunday morning, I started watching the weather, saw it snowing in PA, and raining in MD, and I felt so gypped. It snowed this morning, but you can't really tell now, it's already melted!
I hate the white stuff, but I really wanted it to snow. *sniff*
(I think this is a hint to move back to PA)

We are in Wilmington Delaware. They first said we would get up to two feet of snow, then it was up to 15 inches. Yesterday they said a foot and today (Monday) they expected us to get up to ten inches. Well it is 3:45 eastern and no snow, (maybe 1/2 inch on grass). And the sun is shining!!! Nice prediction!!!
Supermarkets loved it though!

Lots of snow here in upstate/western NY. We got over a foot of snow last night. Schools were closed today. I had my driveway shoveled this morning, and it stopped snowing this afternoon and I was actually able to see my driveway. A little while it started snowing again and you can't see anything but white when you look out the windows. And it's REAL windy here, too.

I'm in South Jersey and nothing is happening as far as snow except people fighting over shovels. A few very fine random flakes early this afternoon and they closed my office at 1:30 (Yay!) but there's been nothing ever since and the forecasters keep changing their predictions. What is up with the fighting over snowhovels? My other question is why do people go to the grocery and buy bread & milk when it snows? Is that all they plan to eat the next few days or what? Get some lunchmeat or peanutbutter or something! lol~

Didn't make it to the post office today, as I'd hoped. I live near where PA, WV, and MD meet at a corner. We only got about 6-10 inches, definately not the 2 feet forcast, our roads are bad in summer (for example, to go to the next town, its about 10 miles and takes 20-30 minutes without getting behind a coal truck) That's in GOOD weather.
Today, although we were in a winter storm warning, the school board decided to have school. I fully expected them to do one of the days where they bus the kids to school and then announce on the radio that parents have to go to school to pick up their children as the roads are too bad to bus the kids home. That would be okay if everyone lived in town, but some people live up to 10 miles away from the local elementary school, and 20 from the high school. Just ridiculious they won't close school when its too bad instead of getting the kids there and telling the parents to drive to pick them up. If I had kids I would homeschool for just this reason! One day of class time is not worth the children's safety.
A couple weeks ago a bus got hung up with kindergardners on it and they made the 5 year olds stand (no adult supervision except the bus driver who was trying to get the bus out of a ditch) they had the five year olds standing by the road in a snowstorm so bad that they could barely be seen. Can we say potential lawsuit?
I'm just glad that:
a) I have no kids who's safety would be disregared by our school system
b) I work at home and don't have to go out in this weather (except to mail twice a week)
c) the storm wasn't any worse than it was. (We lost part of our roof in a winter storm in December, and its not been warm enough to get it fixed yet. Our shingles is nothing but a tarp on one side of the house.)

I still remember from Grade School days...all of the "country" (read BUS) kids had to have a slip signed by a parent stating where they would stay if the busses couldn't run...of course we all picked our best friends house!!!
In those days there was never a concern about a child being "taken in" during a storm...The slips were usually handed out in Oct. so there wouldn't be a problem later...
I have heard that the "Storm" has pretty much "fizzled"...how all you folks doin?

mrssantaclaus...THANKS...I appreciate it..its truly a neat pic.
Well, we got a LOT of snow here but not as much as was forecast. The storm fizzled out... but , as you in the PA area well know....PA weather is unpredictable so we just kind of take it in stride...LOL

Hey ExecutiveGirl, get ready for more! It's coming to my hometown tonite or during the day, backed up with one of Friday! Did I already say this- 6 driveways down with my Ariens and all the neighbors are waving white flags! We're just warming up folk's. This is kid stuff. A foot of snow here and there, sheesh, you'd think it was winter! ~

I live in Glen Mills PA which is about 20 miles outside Philadelphia & 4 miles from DE.
I was looking forward to the "perfect storm" as our forcasters were calling it. We were cheated again. Just received email from someone in CT & they are being hit really hard.

Hi folks,
I'm in Connecticut and it's STILL snowing, we've had anywhere from one foot to two depending on where the wind blew it. We've shoveled 4 times already, I'm sore all over. But it is pretty.

Well Im glad to hear for some of you the storm was less then exspected I live in NY
near the mass boarder and on sunday it looked like this wouldnt be as bad as they were saying.
But Here we sit two days with no school and no work the snow seems to have finailly stopped about two hours ago but the winds are kicking up.
woke up 5 am this morning thinking we would at least make work today to our suprise the cars out in the drive way were under snow drifts as high as 5 1/2 to 6 foot.
by the time we dug down and found them it was already after lunch hour.
Im parying there is a big thaw tommorow like maybe an 90 out since they are talking another storm of 8 to 12 inches for friday and staurday and there is just no place left to put more piles of snow.
