It IS a sad thing. Some folks just need to be allowed to work out their issues.... We just need to be compassionate...and kind.

Hang on, let me finish changing the oil on the van...

Oh wait. I don't have time for this. I have to sand the stairs to get them ready for refinishing.

I am a military spouse. I do MORE than any mere man...

heh...

HartCottageQuilts, judging from his earlier remarks to this thread, I'd guess you're either a "wacko lesbian" or a "<fill-in-the-adjective-du-jour> feminist" -- either way, historically you're in good company.

It's obvious all lesbians ARE "wackos," although let's be fair here; it must be congenital. There's just no other way to explain why any woman would turn down the chance for life with a man like krs.

I can't help it. He makes me tired. And he's made me tired for a very long time..... I'm among the few that do not think he's cute, or funny. I think he's cruel. And he is.

All right ladies - let's put an end to this right now. I'll get the ruler, KRS - drop your pants and .... oh never mind. I might get in trouble if I go any further. I may already be in trouble. Moderators, if I went too far, I apologize. But it's no worse than what KRS has been saying.

By the way, I like George Dubbya Bush because he's cute. Tee hee. (Is that what I'm supposed to say, KRS?)

Pardon me, just going to stick my little feminine nose in here for one tiny minute.

I had NO idea we were in the presence of such a Manly Man! Had I known this before I would surely have been much more respectful and kept to my place.

Because of this thread I am no doubt feeling inclined to change my vote for President [allowing that I will even be able to get myself to the voting booth after reading this]. I now know that the ONLY reason I am able to vote is by the good graces of manly men such as our own KRS. I will now HAVE to vote for G. W. [the "W" stands for women]Bush!!!!I have been shown my place and I will stand right in it!

Thank you KRS for showing me the WAY!

A womans work is never done 'cause men are eternally messy

Aside from a suicidal penchant for blowing up your own outhouse (or is that "doghouse"?), krs, I have to ask: What, exactly, compelled you to post this manifesto?

Are these the observations of many years, which something, somehow, suddenly triggered you to share with the group? If so, I'd be intersted in knowing what "flipped the switch," so to speak, and caused you to speak out.

Or did these observations come upon you suddenly, in a midlife epiphany? In that case, do you recall doing anything just before this epiphany such as (I'm trying to think of manly things here) playing with the household electrical supply, running your car in a closed garage, or using any chemicals containing, say, toluene?

Since you're genetically predisposed to critical thinking, I'm sure you can enlighten us as to the impetus to your actions.

There were 11 people hanging onto a rope that came down from a helicopter. Ten
were men and one woman. They all decided that one person should get off because
if they didn't the rope would break and everyone would die.

No one could decide who should go so finally the woman gave a really touching
speech saying how she would give up her life to save the others, because women
were used to giving
up things for their husbands and children, giving in to men, and not receiving
anything in return.

When she finished speaking, all the men started clapping.

Never underestimate the power of a Woman.
