Before "my ebay" went down for me, a bunch of items on my watch list went to "ended". Coincidently (or not), those items were "currently not available". I'd say, that if things are missing from your "current" list, it's because ebay can't see them, so it thinks that they're ended.

The thing is you get more functinality in Australia:
http://www.ebay.com.au/
You can actually use ebay's funky new email system to email the seller and let them know that the site is down. Most sellers are probably afraid of negatives if they do not recognize the high-bid posted before an outage - not sure what the ebay rules are on that (probably not very fair to the seller) but it is worth a try!

Down in Washington State too! The auctions I tried to list this evening are all getting popped back to AW. Is that happening to anyone else?

You're looking at this down time all wrong---
YEA-E'Bay's down! I can't list auctions! I can't bid! I can't snipe! I'm going to have to shut down the computer and GET A LIFE! Maybe take an evening walk and view the (what is that again?) sunset! Measure my kids--see if they've grown! Snuggle on the couch with my hubby and remind him he still has a wife! Pet the dog! Stand up--stretch--walk away from your computer. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

I can't get a life. I'm at work, and since it was a light day, everything I'd typically be doing right now I did an hour ago.
I'll just go stuff my nose back into my book. By the time I'm done my current stack of books, more'll be coming in from half.com.

yahoo is up and running
I've been listing things over on yahoo this week and been doing better over there than on ebay. And paying less money for it. The items I've been selling this week are closing for a big profit too even after listing fees I kinda like that.

I am not having any trouble getting around eBay. I have no idea of why...
Gee...you can list stuff to sell that no one can view and may or may not be able to bid on.
