You have not answered the questions in my post earlier today.
You claim to have a charity registered in Kansas. What is the name of this charity.
1) The name you use in your auctions, Allison Miller fund, is not registered with the state of Kanas. No charity with the name Allison in it is registered. Source of information: 785-296-4565 Kansas secretary of state offices, charitble organizations desk.
2) Does the originator of this thread sometimes bid on your items?
Someone left you feedback for several items and the user name seems to be the same as the originator of this thread.
3) I didn't ask this before. Why do some of your auctions say: 75% of all proceeds from all of my auctions go to the Allison Miller fund. While some of your auctions say 50% go to her fund. Why the different percentages?

Very interesting topic & one to ponder deeply. I would think that if you are a REAL friend, your first duty as a friend would be to talk to her & help her see the error of her ways. Unless, of course, you have a "friend" like I did. It turned out that she was using the crippled old lady song & dance on the boards & to her buyers but she lives in a very nice home, has bank accounts & seller handles in 5 or 6 other names, owns property, etc. I discovered too late that she goes through friends like most people go through underwear! And if you dare to disagree with her over ANYTHING, BAM!! you are no longer her friend & she bad mouths you to everyone. And anyone who remains friends with you is also on the "list". I hope your friend is not like that & you & she can discuss this problem in a sensible way. DO NOT be a fink, no matter how she reacts. That is only stooping to her level. Good Luck!

I agree with Mitzee 100%. I also dont think there is anything tacky with Justntymes auctions. She sells on ebay to help her daughter. I would probably do the same thing if I were in her shoes. No reason to criticize here. She certainly didnt start this post. Her darling friend did.
And for the life of me, I cannot figure out why this friend even started such a ridiculous thread. Friends like that you dont need or have the time to worry about. You obviously have your plate full as it is without her nonsense.
First of all, I don't have to defend my organization or myself to you or anyone else. You have already made it perfectly clear things like this are repulsive to you, so why answer your questions.
For the benefit of those who are teetering on the edge of doubt...
1) I do have a register with the state of Kansas. It is pending on a federal investigation of my past taxes and credit. Your Kansas registration does not show up until the federal government issues your 501c3 #.
2) I bid and won a Hummel auction from her. We exchanged positive feedback upon the completion of the auction. Last I checked, it was ok to know the person you were buying from on eBay. Let me know if I am against policy with this.
3) The % put into the fund account is BEFORE expenses. Since these CDs have very low cost, I am willing to commit a higher % of these auctions to the fund.
Now, I know no matter what i write or what answers I give you, you will be a skeptic. I have nothing to hide, and I think I have been willing to admit where I can see I am wrong. I can't say I agree with many of the people here, but I do believe I have been very open-minded to suggestions and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.
Now, if you have some information that will HELP me reach my goals and not just some more negative "stuff" I am more than willing to answer your questions, Otherwise, Don't ask me anymore.
As far as wondering where the originator is for this thread, I am wondering that myself. I did call her and she was going to tell me she was on the other line, (which she is 90% of the time) I asked her if she had read her board lately and she didn’t hear me the first time. So I asked her again and before she could respond, I called her a bad name and hung up. I didn’t plan it. It just slipped out. I was soooo upset! I don’t imagine she will be responding anytime soon.

The interesting part to me is that I was under the impression that running a charity was only permitted once the paperwork was completed and the designation received.
So.....if there is an assertion that the application is "in the mill" there is no way of telling if they are indeed legitimate.
If you are PO'd enough.....send a letter to the Feds & Ebay [after all, Ebay has specific guidleines for selling as a charity] ......the answer to the registration question will be apparent soon enough.
If they are legit then there is no harm done other than a lost friendship....and this one [if there was ever one] is dead anyway. Time of death?....the time of the opening post in this thread.
