My first garage sale of the season a couple of years ago, I passed on a really pretty partial set of dishes for $20. All over floral pattern...you guessed it, CHINTZ! I met my aunt at the next sale that day, and told her about the dishes. She guessed correctly what they were, ran to that sale and bought them. She made over $500 on the set and I gave myself a big kick in the pants. Antiques of any sort are rare in my area, and that kind of glassware is popular here.
Course I'm not a huge antiques buyer or seller, but how hard is it to turn a dish over?!! Now I leave no stone unturned, I tell you!
