Nooo, nooo, nooo, Enchanted. I argue so rarely that I had forgotten why not until today - it just takes too much energy! Plus, I'd have to write paragraphs (or prattle like KRS ).

Oddish, Please point me to one, just one politician who has never told a lie.
Enchanted, Maybe we can think up something to argue about. Do you like to go to movies? I hate going to movies! They are so loud and the music! Ack! Terrible! Not to mention the ring worm on the seats. Uck! Movies suck.
I am trying. I find it is not easy to think up an arguement with any kind of spontaneity.
See if you can do better.

I LOVE movies. so there!
Ringworm on the seats though??!! Dang - now I'm not sure I can ever go again and feel comfortable sitting in one of the seats. Yuk!
umm I can't think of anything to argue about, where is krs when you need him?

Yes, ring worm on the seats. Some TV show went in to a theatre with a black light and you should have seen the ring worm! I have to go to the movies in full body armour and I can not sit still. I squirm and squirm the whole time I am there. Makes my skin crawl.
Makes your day to hear that I'll bet.
I knew YOU would like to go to movies! The shame, the shame. Better check your kester for that ring worm.
Edited to do two things and I ain't sayin' what they were!

Now if I started pointing that would be bad manners which could be another point of arguement
Seriously it isn't so much the lying as the betrayl that I find so repulsive. I just think he was dumb for lying about it.
Now about movies. I love movies but your right sometimes they are too loud. Not that I can ever go see a movie again now that I've read this thread.
I know something we can argue about...how about color???? I think yellow is by far the best color. Outshines them all!! What say you?

Oddish, that was very diplomatic and not arguementative at all. Darn.
Oh dear, I didn't mean to ruin anyones movie going enjoyment. Think about something else for awhile. Like those little elephant looking things that live in your eyelashes.
That will take your mind off of it.
edited again because apparently my fingers have a mind of thier own tonight.

Maui It's so nice to see you around!
I would leave Clinton in there for the three months, because I don't think either one of those two are ready be the head of this country...I think they both need time out to
get there poop in a group! You can't be an
(_*_) when over half of the people who voted voted against you!!! Do we really want either one of these two running the country for us?

"Who would you want to see run against Gore and Bush?"
One of the most important qualities a president should have would be to appear as a man of honor. Collin Powel appears to me as a man of honor.

Hi Maui,
Personally, I'd like to see a no holds barred , steel cage match between Al "the killer yawn" Gore and George "the raging duh" Bush for the undisputed, leader of the free world, championship!
Oh yeah, I'd pay to see that one. Hmmmm, or maybe I'm already seeing it and I'm gonna have to pay later.
Good to see you Maui and take it from an old time poster to this and many other boards, It's about the fun. That's it. These boards are here to enjoy and have fun with. Don't worry about the folks who don't get it, they will always be out there, scratching around.

Who would I like to see run?
Mikey! He'll do it!!! He just said he would! LOL!!!!!
Seriously I would like to see Norman Schwartzkopf (sp?) !

Hello People. I like the recommendations from some of you. Schwartz (sp?)and Powell, McCain and even DeNiro.
I also think Clinton did a good job.
Ringworm sounds gross. No movies for me. I will wait until they come out on video.

HEY MAUI,
Whoopee, you're back.
Whiney,
Go away and don't come back as another. As you can see alot of people posted to this thread because MAUI is back and they are very glad!!!!!!!!!
Who would I feel totally comfortable voting for for president? Norman Swartzkoff (can't spell it either). Did you notice the way all he had to do was let loose with a statement about the military vote nd everyone and I mean everyone sat up and tok notice. Now that is respect. Hate to give up Elizabeth but I would go for Colin Powell for veep. Maybe that would keep his family out of the limelight.
Welcome back Maui!!!!!!

Must admit that in the Lewinsky matter W. J. Clinton showed brains and morality about on a par with G. W. Bush, but that really doesn't prove that Bush would make a good president.

Sorry, maui, didn't realize (a) you expected answers to be flip and (b) that "none of the above, we're doing just fine as is" was not an acceptable response.
As to whether the tenants or the property owner hired you - it doesn't matter. I was using what's called an "analogy."

Re: Ringworm on seats: I think the only time you'd have to fear contracting ringworm from a movie seat is if you sat in the seat buck nekkid. And if you ARE buck nekkid in the movie theater, then you're in theaters which I'll never attend. So I'm not worried about the threat of ringworm one bit.
And how could they tell that whatever they saw under the blacklight was ringworm? How did it get there, if people who sat in that seat were clothed at the time?
"Threat of ringworm"...is that anything like "the heartbreak of psoriasis"?
