I put up exactly 100. I'd planned to do to do more, but I'm exhausted and just want SLEEP! Lots and lots of sleep. Although I'll probably dream about listing auctions...

Hi, I was wonder what auction listing software you all are using. I have tryed Mister Lister and didn't like it. What other ones are out there that aren't a copy and paste. Which also don't cost a fortune.
ALSO "Where do you guys get the stuff to sell in bulk like that. PLEASE PLEASE tell me!!!!!!!!
Thanks

I use the Sellers Assistant Basic (the old AuctionAssistant) which is $4.95 a month.

W/SAB I can't set the upload time but I can upload in bulk which is a great timesaver.

If bulk gets bogged down, then I can switch to individual w/a single mouse click.

I think the Sellers Assistant Pro may have a launch platform but I don't need it.

I produce many of my own product lines so I have a varied inventory at any given time. I think others may carry a pretty varied inventory as well.

100 - my goal. No software. Hopefully my insurance covers having my work chair surgically removed from my ass. Great work everyone! I hope we all get rich!

PS: eBay did great tonight - not a problem at all and I listed throughout the day.

I got 30 listed, which was what I had planned. I started one batch uploading around 9pm pacific time, another just before 10pm. Not a problem at all! Sure a lot less cussing around here since we stopped watching our auctions sit in processing. It was a good day.

LMAO!!!!!!!!!

bwahahahaha!!!

Yup, Sadie, I hear you there. I do tend to tweak at times, though.

I don't care about quantity, but it's nice as heckydarn to list a $300 starting bid for 10 stinkin' centavos!
(Ebay more of the freeby action! Baby!)
I loaded some pretty puppies up, they've been pawing at the door for a new house to live, a new eyeball to look through them, so I am taking advantage of the day that way.

Plus I listed about 12 items that to me were going to be donated and can be affordably listed at a low throwaway opening bid.
One even has a bid!!! I'll be!

You know these fees take the fun out the found items. They are nuts (yeah, nuts over money).

I hope everyone makes some moolah!

Well, my mouse is permanently attached to my hand, but I got 317 in. Would have been more if AW hadn't taken a dump at 1800, but won't complain. Time to go to sleep! Night all! Hope all your work makes you rich!

This is how I feel
I listed 268 auctions and I did it all today...pictures and writing the descriptions for each and everyone. What a day. They have finally posted so I am going to bed!
Let's do it again tomorrow!

With relatives over I only got 27 in. That's ok though because I hadn't planned on having any listed this week because I have many successful Yahoo auctions ending today.

I am lucky:

I found out at midnight last night (and I'd been doing half.com and amazon marketplace for about 4 hours). Since I am on eastern time, that gave me 3 hours notice. I tried pulling an all nighter, but couldn't do it. (How I ever survived on seven hours of sleep a WEEK in college is beyond me.) I went to bed a few hours.

We were expecting company tonight, as our town's annual 4th of July parade was tonight (don't ask me why it is in June!) Thankfully, our company decided to watch the parade elsewhere, and only one person and her daughter showed (the little girl is 11 and thinks of me as big sis, so I basically let her have the run of the house -- I let her get potato chips, etc, and I stayed with my bootie firmly planted in my chair.) I was getting majorly exhausted with each letter and number flipping around (I often see things upside down, backwards, etc, but it was worse than usual). So I watched the parade for about 30 minutes, and nearly fell asleep. (How's that for exhaustion when fire trucks are blaring past!)

I just finished posting a few minutes ago. Thankfully no ebay crashes, and I have my own software loaded into my computer, so no problems with it while listing.

I only got 154 up, but my record at any one time is 151, so I think I did pretty well, esp with a parade and expecting company, and having to somewhat prepare for them. I also had to hunt down a few things my mother wanted me to put on for her, and that slowed things a little, but overall, I would say it was a success.

wow, some of you got in 1000? i only got in 35, but got a late start, and that's doing it by hand, and doing a lot of measuring and describing. i'm pooped! of course NOW i'm thinking about them all ending in one day, when my usual max is 10-15. didn't think about that part. oh well.

it was really fun experimenting with listing in two categories - for free - and relisting things that didn't sell months ago, as well as new stuff.

and tomorrow, i'm taking the day OFF

Got 185 listed before my eyes quit on me. (And my behind, too) All the old copy and paste way. Between netscape crashes, computer crashes, slow uploading and other problems like feeding the kid and husband plus bathroom breaks; I did pretty good.
All I have listed is old and out-of-print books, other books and more books. They need to get moving, so I put up everything for $1.00 - $3.00 tops.
So far 4 of them have bids, hope the average improves!!!

I did my bit for the country. I cancelled all the ones I had left.

I did 309 of them!

About 150 from 3:40 to 5:40 in the afternoon, and another 159 from 9:40 to 11:55 in the evening.

I didn't even have pics yet. I scanned, cropped, watermarked and uploaded the pics the next day in another 3 hour period

WHEW!

Luckily they were all almost identical (could use the same template and just change the TITLE, HEADER, PIC LINK)

Problem was... after the second one... when doubleclicking the picture filename, I somehow grabbed the ".jpg" as well... So all my pics were not showing on all of them ("http://myserver/directory/picfile" <- missing .jpg!!

So into work with a friend for about 80 minutes on Saturday on two computers, REVISED EVERY AUCTION to add the .jpg into the image link (embedded in the HTML also, not eBay's provided link) If I had tried to revise 309 auctions over a 26.4K connect at home I would have spent 15+ hours on that as well

ARRGGHH! So, 10+ hours of work... But saved $105 in listing fees. (Nearly all were $1-$1.50 starting bids that will close in the $1.50 to $5 range, and only about 50% will likely get bids..at 10% now halfway thru the week)

Oh well... I guess I responded as quick as I could since I had found out at 10am that morning it was free day.

Mildreds ~

I did it through the support of my family. My mother took over the house and kids ~ my husband kept me in food and drinks and back rubs. I used Mister Lister ~ I worked 20 out of 27 hours........I just hope it all pays off!
