We have the same issue. This statement works everytime. " We are a mail order warehouse only and are not setup to receive retail customers due to insurance requirements. We will adjust your shipping cost for local delivery. Please include the 6.25% for state sales tax." So far everyone has paid and some customers have even bought more merchandise.

Just a question here, what does everyone use for mailing addresses? All PO Boxes? I was really paranoid in the beginning and used a PO box, but the got rid of it and use my home address for people to send their checks and money orders to.
I've met several people to deliver goods and only one was a bit weird. Always in a public place (I use a local mall, 1 block away from my house), and it works out fine. The worst for me is even though it is close, it eats up time, especially if they are late. (Next question - how long do you wait?)
Anyway, just curious about mailing addresses - a full scale nut could show up anytime at the rate I send out my mailing address.
