I agree (mostly) with you Tom, especially about how much CF's boards SUCK! AW's boards are so far advanced(over CF), I'm not sure why anyone would want to conduct a conversation anywhere else! It's been an ongoing joke for a while, and even their employees laugh about it. OTOH, I agree with them when they say they'd rather put their resources to work on more important feature enhancements (such as getting support for ebay storefronts, which they had up just a few days after ebay went public with the storefronts).
But, I think you must be imagining that their site is slow. Sometime you should stop by my place, for drinks or dinner or something, and I'll show you how well it works from my computer (you do use AT&T, formerly MediaOne, Broadband right?) I think that you'd sit there and say it loads too slow, and I'd time it at 2 to 6 seconds per page, and then we'd have confirmation that this IS all in your imagination!

forget it....I signed up for the two weeks free. It took me longer to get past the first page than it does for me to create my listing, load my pic and list my ad with the software I am using. I think I'll stay away........especially for the price

I have been using CF since it was Auctionrover and have been happy all along. The customer service is quick, the auctions instant, and i have NEVER had any speed issues with my dialup or AT&T Cable.
I was in FL for a week & used my kids dial-up AOL & CF was FAST! But, back home in BAWSTAWN, Cf is OK (only) some days & excruciatingly slow on other days on my AT&T CABLE!
I have learned that certain pages should be avoided at all costs ("VIEW ADS" and, by doing so, I'm able to use the site. But there are times that the PSM pages just CRAWL and I end up beating the dog or doing a wonderful Richard Widmark imitation, pushing some little ole lady in a wheelchair down the stairs!
