My first real job was as a waitress at a local restaurant. One day I overheard two people talking about a person with the same unique first name as a close relative of mine. The area they were talking about was the same area this relative was from. The comments were quite shocking, and it was obvious that this behavior had been going on for quite some time.

When I came home from work I asked my Mother if it could be this particular relative they were discussing. She assured me that there was another person with that name in that part of town.

The next time I saw this relative I asked them if there was another person by that name there. The reply,

"Honey, with a name like mine there could only ever be one!"

Mom looked at me and said I was a *itch!

So ... this person was not who I thought they were ...

Funny thing is I will always miss this person. I would never hold their actions against them. They were wonderful to me!
