'69 Chevelle, buttercream yellow with black top & pinstripes. Turbo hydramatic 400 ("bombproof" with the baby 307, packing a mild 200 ponies. Spun it off the road at least once a month. My roomie at the time sold the car for scrap as he didn't think I'd be returning from CA.
That was Mom's car she gave me. Why didn't I kill him slowly? Must've been banking karma. Hey, how can I make a withdrawal?

My parents bought me my first car in 1985, it was a baby blue 1978 Chevy Camaro. I was the only one of my girlfriends who had a car so everyone always piled in with me. That was a heck of a lot of big 1980's hair to stuff in one car. I loved that darn car, but I couldn't have a car at college so my dad sold it. I would love to buy another Camaro, but I think my son's car seat would look kind of odd in it.
