We do accept checks and we have had several bounced checks since we've been selling on Ebay. Some make good while others don't.
I don't really feel comfortable accepting a personal check for a large ammount, but we will do it. We do hold shipment as we cannot afford to take the loss if the check bounces.
A lot of businesses don't take checks in this area, including, most restaurants and fast food joints, gas stations etc.. Mcdonalds no longer takes checks and charges 50 cents to use your debit card.
