fran-surprisingly, i haven't seen much of what can be construed as bigotry here and i certainly have no hidden agenda with you. you seemed to suddenly turn this chat into one of bigotry and hatred. i consider myself a very tolerant person. if there is anyone i might hate it would be child molesters and those who mistreat dogs and cats, those who can not defend themselves. someone said the BSOA had a problem with pedophiles and since there is now an issue of homosexuality, i think there might be a connection. bigotry? no! hatred? no! a mistake? maybe, maybe not.

There you go again. The whole CONCEPT of what human beings do to others who dont agree with THEIR stance is what the discussion is about, not what the POSTERS in this thread are saying. You are now assuming again. I give up.

Oddish, I didnt say it wasnt wrong any more than I said it was right. But who am I to judge anyone for what they believe, think, do? And I dont preach it from a pulpit either. I dont have a flock of people who look up to me to think my word is RIGHT. And I agree with what you said because I said the same thing. BSOA has a right to do as they see fit with THEIR organization. Some may not agree with it, some may. Thats why the choice of not belonging to that particular organization is an option.

fran- you have to expect that sometimes people get slightly off the intended topic. anyways, have a nice holiday. you seem to be a well-intentioned person as evidenced by your donation post on the "spare a dime" thread.

Thanks Stusi. You have a wonderful holiday yourself. I like to think all of us can debate and maybe slightly get annoyed, but not at what we are saying..only at the inability to express words correctly via typing. Thats how I look at it anyway.
I love animals. And if my donation can assist njrazd in anyway (albeit maybe a small donation), then Im happy to contribute

I can totally agree with. Happy holidays everyone.

Is being gay a lifestyle? Is being white or African-American or Latino or Asian-American a lifestyle?
Think about it.
Human beings are people. Period. Some of us may walk, dance or hear the beat of different drummers, but that doesn't diminish the fact that we are people with inherent differences and commonalities.
God created many nations, but I don't believe the creator appreciates the fighting and feuding that we engage in based on silly things, like gender, race religion or sexuality.
Remember that adage from Scripture: Let he who is without sin.......

Good point Baduizm.....the lifestyle thing. Struck me immediately how cliche's and catch-phrases contain subtle vestiges of indoctrination. I'll be more careful with that one in the future.
