I just went in and auctions came up. Must not be a universal problem.

Whew! I'm glad it's not universal. I had one of my regulars email me and tell me she's not able to get the alerts on my auctions, so I went in to check them, and I'm not able to access them either.

Update: I am now able to access the auctions. I deleted my tmp files, and rebooted my puter. I don't know if that had anything to do with it, but I can now get in them...

bopkh,
I just put that auction number into "By Item Number" search, and got the "could not access" message. I've had several listings I clicked on tonight give me that message.
Yahoo must be changing software again.

Hi granee...I've been getting all kinds of messages the last few days trying to access Yahoo. I'll be glad when they get everything straightened out. For a little while last night I was able to access them, but now I can't.

Thought it was just me. I just listed an auction and after I submitted, it said "come back later". So I can see my sell page but that is all.

What is wrong with Yahoo anyway??? I cannot access an auction I just listed.
Reminds me of eBay last year and I don't like the feeling at all.

Been watching some Yahoo auctions since 1300 Right coast time today and all is well. It is a bit maddening when Yahoo has outages, cause though they never seem to last very long you just don't know what is happening or why. One of the flaws of ROBO site. I have no idea if they extend auctions that end during one of their OUT times - has anyone ever had that happen? I imagine it would be easy for them to do since sellers can already use the antisnipe option of auto extensions. I guess we all need to spend more time on Yahoo to find out -Rosalinda

I am getting a different message, but can't access my auctions. When I go to 'my auctions' and try to bring one up, it says I'm not authorized to access from my server-must be a different variation of the same problem.

I run auctions on yahoo Im here in up state newyork and on wenesday I couldnt access yahoo autions to veiw or list also couldnt access my yahoo email that day but thursday and friday were fine so its going around.
I have been listing on yahoo over a year and the answer to the question if they exstend the time on an auction due to a outage is no I been through a few they last from 5 mins to several hours and they never exstend due to an outage.
at least not the free auctions im not sure if your a merchant paying to run auctions if they do or not.
the outage seems to be only in some parts of the country at a time and not others but I can see a differents in my listing veiws and sales due to this over normal with no down time weeks.
yahoo isnt to bad for outages in the year I have been listing there there has been 1 small outage and two big and one of then was due too the hacker that knock them out .
all in all you cant beat the hits and trafic you get there and the free services.
there buy price auction frist bid wins is truning out to be a hard to beat feature of there auction service.
On a positive Note for all who have been looking for less negitive meda about online Auction in our Area News paper here in the Albany area the Times Union ran a full page Story On online auctions that was 100% positve news about online auctions mentioning yahoo and ebay and how many people are starting to make great part time and full time and all the great deals buyer are getting on line .
if you want you might be able to find the story on www.timesunion.com thursdays edition.it is a very poitive story for sure they decribe the trend in person to person auctions as an orgy of people flooding online auction sights and coment that as far as real profit in the online world for the average person this might be the only place where there really is any .

Just delete your 'Temporary Internet files' from your hard drive. This will let you back in until Yahoo! fixes this glitch.

Mint4You...I was able to delete my tmp files 2 days ago and get in, but that's not working now. I have a bidder that wants me to cancel her bid on one of my auctions, and I can't get in to do that. How in the world she was able to bid, I don't know. This is getting very frustrating!...
