Why nycyn's fb was removed:
"Feedback left by a user who provided eBay with false contact information during the registration process, and cannot be contacted."
And then other one mentioned in this thread, "Feedback that contains personal identifying information about a user, including real name, address, phone number, or e-mail address."

Sheesh, you must have spent 30 hours whining about those negs, because I got a nice, friendly, EMPATHIC phone call at home. You sure know how to get those guys to respond!

Subject: Can I get feedback removed?
Hello, I would like to request that this feedback be removed. She has a thread on the auction watch board about me and is very hostile throughout the whole thread.
Her name on the thread is - nycyn
and the tital of the thread is Seller had to double neg a seller today.
I ordered her contact info to see if I could
call her to try and resolve this. Her phone # she left ebay is a
payphone # that cannot recieve calls. She has left ebay with fraudulent
contact info. I believe that is reason to get this feedback removed.

ADD "Habitual Liar", "Homeless with no Phone", "Clueless", "Yea, but I...." to the GROWING list of personalities.

Maybe she got me on a technical--must've taken some real effort tho', poor desperate thing.
So sellers beware, if you've dropped a phone line or moved in the last two years make sure you go back to your eBay contact information and change it!
Not that we had anything to discuss on the phone. I negged her, would still neg her, etc., etc., and will replace those negs ("neglected to add that this Kennedys ashtray has Office Supplies written on it" & "neglected to add that Avon was signed all over this piece" or some such, no names, no ID's, no name calling) given the chance.

eBays response to my query is in:
Thank you for writing to eBay. I am sorry to hear about this situation,
and understand your frustration and concern over the issue.
We have reviewed the feedback comment in question to see if it is
eligible for removal. We found that the comment does not meet the
requirements for removal as outlined in our feedback removal policy
found at:
Unless the feedback meets this policy we cannot remove it. Due to the
fact that there are few instances where we are able to remove feedback,
we try to encourage all members to use caution in posting feedback.
Unfortunately, good members can sometimes still end up receiving
feedback they feel is inappropriate or unfair. However, unless the
feedback meets the removal policy guidelines regrettably it cannot be
removed.
We wish that in cases such as yours we could bend the rules. However,
this is one area where we must be rather stringent. This is because of
the liability posed to us should we vary from this policy. Please review
the information found in our feedback removal policy at the URL listed
above. Hopefully, after doing so, you can see how our hands are bound in
this situation.
We are sorry that we could not be of more assistance to you in this
matter.

You won't take responsibility for misrepresenting/underdescribing items in search of suckers. No, that would take a bigger girl than you. Yeah, so Bravo! CELEBRATE! You are truly an eBay asset, and maybe a member of their Status Quo.
No, a refund would never compensate for what you did.

"So sellers beware, if you've dropped a phone line or moved in the last two years make sure you go back to your eBay contact information and change it!"
Oh yes! Phone companies are well noted to give the number you just had (within the last two years) to a public phone....hmmm, add "ignorant fool who thinks all others are less naive than I" on the list of GROWING personalities!
