What is wrong with being honest?
Tell the seller exactly what your concerns are. Maybe he is not an expert and does not know he is selling bad stuff. If confronted with your facts, maybe he will check it out and agree that you can get out of your bid by mutual agreement. He doesn't want a bunch of bad feedback either, I suspect.
Hey, we are not all experts in everything, and I for one would want people to tell me they think I am doing something wrong. If I understand it right, he is seling them too cheap, another indication he does not know what he is doing.

SCrabblegod, maybe I should avoid you? (( Seriously though, after some investigation and "research", let's just say I am glad I didn't go through with this transaction.
You can close this thread now. (by the way, HOW DO YOU DO THAT?)

I don't mean to be nosey, but since this was bumped to the top I'd really like to know...how did you end up resolving it and did you email the seller about the videos asking him how he came across so many rare copies? What was his response?
