When you are in line at the post office and the guy in front of you asks the post master how much shipping is a box sent via priority mail and you tell him before the post master can look it up.

When your grandson takes inventory of all the toys he leaves at your house everytime he comes over because he's afraid you might have sold them. (And, yes, he knows EVERY car, toy soldier, etc out of hundreds and hundreds and gets very suspicious if anything is missing).

When you have no problem telling Cousin Viola you really, really don't want to sell her big old unknown-if-it-still-works photo enlarger for her even though it's worth maybe $10-20. Of course it'll take a giant $10 dishpack box and several cubic feet of peanuts, etc., to pack...

And you don't really care whether she understands or not.
