rewassago is right. I use Yahoo and Eudora. I have all my emails forwarded to my yahoo account. I then set yahoo mail on my home page so I can see all new emails before I open Eudora. Anything out of the ordinary gets deleted before it even hits my computer. The only time I've had any problems is when I forget and leave Eudora running in the background while working. I've had a few sneak in this way. (And yes, all had attachments over 100k.) A couple of extra clicks to get mail, but otherwise, this system works for me.

Why are people so concerned about a "virus" that comes as an attachment. Do the logical thing and don't open attachments unless you know what they are.

Jack, I used to receive infected emails all of the time till I switched to AT&T email. Now they don't seem to get through.

You guys STILL don't get it. It DOES NO GOOD to send a nasty email to the guy who "sent" you the KLEZ virus. The virus is not sent by the person listed as the "sender" in the reply to field. The sender field is taken from a name in the ADDRESS BOOK of an infected computer.
For the same reason, when an email message is rejected and sent back to YOU and you never sent it, it doesn't mean someone has "hijacked" your id and password.

Send the Virus to Iraq? What is it going to infect? Camels? They have so few computers it wouldn't stop them at all.

peacebear, It doesn't make any difference what you use, you are never immune from the Klez virus. I have never iused outlook express. I think it is a waste of time. I use hotmail & have 3 addresses. One is for my ebay business & one is for personal email. The other is idle for now. My ebay address has been hit about 5 or 6 times in the past yr. My other one was just hit for the first time last week. I think that one of my friends or relatives must have the virus, but I don't know who.
