Hi yellowstone
Didn't Jack say that he lived near Disneyland? Then he's most likely already tired of it so maybe he would take us all to Vegas?
Maybe he would buy AW and boot off everyone that gave him grief.

Good Evening, Yeager.
Perhaps when you quote me it is best not to do it out of context.
This is the thread where you lost complete control and that is why I made the comment. Please click here for a memory refresh.

To make an analogy of the present happenings with rape is a low thing to do but I'm not surprised.
I see that you have returned to moderate.

Jack like to call people that disagreed with him "MORONS". That is a major violation of AW's rules. He usually went back and edited that stuff out.

As far as 53 people endorsing the return of JACKSWEBB, I think some people just don't get it. Auction Watch has made a business decision based on their rules. Even if 53 or 153 people sided with JACKSWEBB position, they will very likely maintain their position.
As an ebay seller, you make decisions based on your rules and your best interest. Auction Watch has done the same thing. If you were to look at the Community Guidelines at AW, you would find there are NO EXCLUSIONS for being popular with the rest of the posters in reference to following these very simple to understand rules.
Keep up the good work Auction Watch!

tooltimes, this is the complete quote. Jack was referring to his auction ID being posted by another community member.
I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT 10% OF THE RULES ARE HERE BUT WHEN I SAW THAT THE OTHER DAY I HAD A FEELING IMMEDIATELY THIS CANNOT BE PERMITTED. THANKFULLY I WAS RIGHT IN MY THINKING. YOU AND I KNOW WHAT THE MEANING OF HIM DOING THAT WAS FOR. IT WAS FOR NO GOOD. WHAT I DO THERE AND WHAT I DO HERE HAVE NOTHING , ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN COMMON............... I AM NOT LOOKING FOR ANY FURTHER DEBATE OR CONVERSATION ON THAT ISSUE. GOOD DAY.
I don't know why you keep posting info about what Jack said and what Jack did and what Jack sells and where Jack was injured and also that Jack has been suspended permanently when you don't seem to know jack about any of it.
I suppose this is one of the reasons why AW did not allow us to discuss users that were not here or users that were suspended. Everyone takes sides and the person isn't here to refute claims made about him. So if this thread is locked that would be a good enough reason to do so.

Looks like some like to post a bunch of inaccurate hearsay to cause trouble and then sneak back later in the wee hours to edit it out because they can't stand behind their comments?

I think AW should let JACKWEBB back provided they do the follow:
a) Remove every suspension they've ever placed on anyone for breaking the rules.
b) Do not suspend any poster unless it is put to members for a vote.
c) Do not edit or remove a thread unless it is put to the members for a vote.
d) Allow the members to form a committee and rewrite the Community Guidelines
Why does this thread remind me of "Ferris Buller's Day Off?"

I like using AW and the message boards in the fact there is a structure to it. Even though AW doesn't have a full time moderation staff on the payroll, they do a pretty good job of keeping things in order. I think many of the users of this board use it for that very reason.
It seems that a few posters, at current count, 53, would like to see this become something else. They are a small minority in relationship to AW's overall membership. Some of these posters have a hard time containing their anger and resort to negative remarks and similar tactics to promote their position.
It would seen that some posters would like the membership to create the rules as they go along. With so many people involved, and the different types of thinking each seem to have, it would be very diffucult.
To say the least, it would seem the inmates have locked up the warden and are running the prison.
I like logging on to Auction Watch's Ebay Outlook and finding primarily ebay topics there. I also like to go to the Round Table and conduct my other postings that are not ebay related.
I respect Auction Watch for their keeping order here!

Didn't Saddam Hussein just empty almost all of his prisons, even murderers? AW can do the same thing. If a certain poster is allowed back then all exiled posters have to come back too.

Hi Yeager,
Thanks for helping out here.
The more posts there are the better it looks for Jack.
I don't care if AuctionWatch lets twelvepole, RB, and beowolf all back on as long as they let Jack back on.
I think some of their posts were angry and rude, but some people felt that way about Jack.
Some people even feel that way about you. Go figure.

This is a discussion board and AW makes no money off this. Their business is all the other parts. There are posters on here that do no business with AW and they let them in so to say AW makes money off this board that is an untruth. The only way AW will delete this thread is if untruths are printed and it get combative.
and the beat gones on.

I have followed this board for about 2 1/2 years but have not been an avid poster. I generally follow the rule that you learn more by listening since anything you say you already know. I have found many posts both informative and entertaining and appreciate the breathers I have taken while working on my business.
I am convinced that many of you defending Jack must not have read the thread that got Jack and others kicked off. While I find Jack a little out there at times, I also find him entertaining at others. The thread that Jack started and others swooped in on to fan a fire was both obnoxious and offensive, and mind you this is coming from someone with an evil sense of humor
While the analogy to the rapist IS a little extreme, the point is well made. Why should we overlook ones offenses just because he is popular among a select group. Let him do his time as AW has determined and let him rejoin when it is deemed fit by AW and not by his friends and supporters.

The thread was not obnoxious or offensive. I have a copy of both threads and I know this for a fact. Some posters made inappropriate remarks to Jack but he was not at fault.

This reminds me of an accident or a robbery where they call in witnesses to report what they saw.
Everyone saw something different. And a few weeks from now they are convinced that it happened another way yet.
Even when the writing is on the wall so to speak, many choose to interpret it the way they want to see it and nothing will change their minds.
Did anyone notice that we are no longer a "message center" at the top of the page? We are now a "community".
Sheesh!! I prefer message center!

AW made the determination. To allow Jack back and not the others is wrong. Jack uses and pays for AW auction services so I suppose he will be let back after his time is served as AW can not risk losing paying customers.
