Copy and paste post from another thread. Don't want to disappoint MC.

You did exactly what I knew you would do.

Don't even begin to think you know what I'm thinking.

Instead of addressing the rankings thread or the issues you and BidBaylover come and attempt to attack me. Well it's going to do just the opposite of what you hoped.

Attack you? Where is the attack? I sure don't see it.

I dare you to come over to the rankings thread and attempt to tell me how BidBay's number 2 ranking is an improvement.

Don't worry a copy and paste of this post will be placed upon your thread for informative purposes.

You won't, because you can't. The proof is in the numbers that you guys so proudly shout on the BidBay boards.

The proof is the items and users continue to grow. 1,568,625 items listed on the home page. Frankly I'm not going to get into a pissing contest with you MC. I have better things to do with my time then to keep you company in the basement. My suggestion to you is to create you some sock puppets to keep you company.

I think it proves that the business plan has been a failure. They should have stuck with what was working, when they were pulling in over 1 million unique hits a month.

Don't prove a damn thing about a business plan. Once again you are speculating, do you know what the business plan is?

And I would like to add I don't drink Kool-aid MC, I like Coca-cola just like you. The only difference is I brush my teeth on a daily basis thus to avoid cavities and toothaches.

Thank You MC for all the advertisement you bring upon the site.

Okay here we go again.

1.5 million items on the front page:

One users auctions: 567,179 items. Now can that user even prove they have all of those in stock?

Which represents 36% of the total items on BidBay.

Recipe auctions:
294,367 in the $1.00 under cat.

347,783 in the bidbay buck cat.
Total recipe auctions: 642,150

Not to mention all of the recipes in the general sub category of these two categories.

These recipe auctios equal 41% of the total items being auctioned off on BidBay.

Just these that I have mentioned total 1,209,329 of the items you are so proud of at BidBay.

That's 77% of the items claimed on the front page.

That is not mentioning the 2 cent and 5 cent and of course dime cards listed by the bloated feedback powersellers there. You know the ones with only a 2% unique user percentage.

Quote from AG2
"I also love the ease of listing as well as relisting an item, and the new feedback page is great.

I also love how easy it is to leave feedback now, yes they did make improvements. "

The numbers speak for themselves.

I don't know if this info affects Bidbay's rankings or not, but I've been doing some reading elsewhere.

If you've ever bought a ticket (registered) to ride on a certain train, you may very well now be a Bidbay member, whether or not that conforms to your wishes.

Also, according to a Bidbay representative, if you've ever posted on an affiliate (and I have no idea what that means but he seemed to be talking about places they buy and places with which they cooperate) listing you as a member on their site is perfectly legal. (He didn't say he was an attorney, so I wonder if those high-priced attorneys who frown on lay people saying anything is legal without paying attorneys' fees would look upon that as giving legal advice (or even, just maybe the Courts as well). He didn't say moral, ethical or anything else, just legal.

Also, some members of another board, which have nothing to do with the train or Bidbay in any way are complaining that they are now suddenly members of Bidbay without even having to register on that site.

So, ya might wanna check.

You're very welcome. And you need to thank all of the others through out the internet discussing BidBay right now and their shady dealings for their part in this advertisement.

Man it is blowing up in BidBay's face as we speak. Buying AD really opened up a can of worms they were not prepared for.

I love it when I can reel the big ones in.

bidbaylover:

I DID try bb, I sold 2 things, and when I started asking questions about, if their charity was a registered 501(c)3, I was told to stop harassing people by the owner. I have all the emails, as does the FTC.

....When I started posting to the boards, and asking the HARD questions...my posts were deleted (but not before I copied them).

I got caught when they were asking (begging) people to send money to feed a man ...who never asked for help, and was embarrassed after the entire thing was over. My check was returned. I was there for when the owner took his group to the home of the person who runs this not registered charity...they even posted pictures on their site. I was told they (this charity)had requested to be registered...I asked for proof (which is legal, and must be provided) It was not, and I was threatened.....The FTC is aware of this also.

I got caught up in 'what might be' for about 2 weeks....It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what is going on there.

It is easy to get caught up in good causes under the guise kindness, and then when you find that it is of cultist behavior, it changes quickly.

Weak people have no trouble doing that, as they are searching for someone to approve of them.

You really should be more careful about what you say, especially since you just REGISTERED TODAY...and probably at the request (demand) of the PTB.

Any person who is FREE thinking and does not need to be in this cult of deceit and fraud...can certainly figure it out for themselves.

Just my opinion, and I am glad I can think for myself, freely with out a web site owner telling me what to say and do.

I do have to say one thing.

Coolvette is a good person, and also entitled to his opinion. We agree to disagree, but I will not trash him, or his opinion....not the way to advocate change in the world. (

Interesting post dadnmom. I always wondered why you had left BidBay.

I too have brought up these questions to the CEO. I also have concerns about the "raffles' and "sports pools" they offer on their site and their legality.

His only response was to ask me if I was going after the "full retaliation."

All I wanted in the beginning was a place to call home for the majority of my auctions. A place I could have confidence in knowing that professionals were running it to the letter of the law.

But I quickly learned that was not the case and was vilified for bringing this to light.

You want to talk about trashing someone for their opinion, if you only knew what I have been through with a majority of those users over there I think you would see where the trashing comes from.

I have been flamed to no end by most members on that site...I've been called names by coolvette and others which he has attempted to call me here.

But in the end I can sleep at night and I know there's a bad little CEO and a few shareholders on the West Coast who can't.

The truth is coming out, and there is a movement afoot all over the net right now among so many chat boards.

In the end am I suffering that some people from BidBay think I am wrong or do I rejoice in the hundreds of others on the net discussing what I've been putting forth these past few weeks?

I'll let you in on a little secret...I'm rejoicing...LOL

First, I am sorry that you and Coolvette have had words. In all my dealings and fun with him, I have always found him to be a stand-up person, who does not easily take sides against anyone. he is a free thinker (he can think for himself), and he and I have always had a good online relationship. We may not agree on this matter, but to me, that does not make him any different a person than he was before. He is funny and nice. Maybe you two could try to get to know each other rather than argue. It sounds like you, and Cool have issues to work out between you two.

As for bb ....Well I have nothing more to say. I do not like the way it is run. I do not like being threatened, and I won't put up with it. I have taken my own action on this issue.

The contests are not run properly. Any online contest must have a way to enter by mail. Any contest that is run legally and properly by an authentic company, corporation etc. has a way for people to mail in a contest form. When you have a contest online only, it is very prejudicial against a person that does not have a computer, but may want to enter (saw the post at a friends etc....it really doesn't matter) it is a form of prejudice. There are many groups that would love to know that I am sure.

AG2, if you know that you are right, put that energy into advocating change instead of arguing. There is so many positive things that the FTC will do if you let them know what is going on. Local, and State laws may be being broken also (contest rules in the State of California) check with the Attorney General's office in Sacramento, California. When you run a contest, you must be registered in the State ....... Somehow I do not think these contests are being registered.

Anger does not let one think or act clearly. Hang in there! :

All this arguing between people is getting nowhere. All it is doing is making people sick inside with anger.

If you are upset and you know you are correct, then Start taking action. Email, call or write the State of California, the FTC. etc.

AG2:

Actually....Any state that this contest is run in must follow guidelines according to the States Attorney General Office of that State........50 States.......how many countries?

Makes one think doesn't it?

Hope that helps you!

Hi dadnmom,

I'm fully aware that the contests are not legal...LOL

I have filed my complaints with the California AG and have received a response, awaiting a complaint form from the Texas AG, have notified the US AG's office here awaiting their return call.

I have also filed complaints with the SEC as well as the Better Business Bureau in their immediate area and have written numerous letters to the Los Angeles Times attempting to get their writers involved in investigating this.

The only complaint I have not filled out yet is the one with the FTC as it won't allow me to online because of their limited complaint categories.

I will do my best to locate a number that I can call either here or nationally and file that complaint.

Edited for clarification

COOLVETTE - Hello BABE! ( ......

I thank you for the kind compliment.

As always you are a true gentleman, and a ethical STAND-UP PERSON with Class and Charm.
I am proud that we call each other friend.

I told you a long time ago (that kindness you did for me). would never, ever be forgotten, and it never will. I have the utmost respect for you.

Whatever side of a heated discussion one is on, both people are naturally passionate about their own views. I think, you and I, are good examples. We are at opposite ends of this issue. but we are adult enough to handle it in a matter-of-fact attitude, stating facts, and not slamming, and hammering other people - And MOST IMPORTANT we don't let it get in the way of our friendship.

We know that nothing gets accomplished like that. I think both of us would agree that it would be nice to see a little less bashing around here (bashing any site or anybody), and a little more give and take. Maybe we could lead the Peace Parade!

There has to be an in-between place where folks don't get so upset over things ...things that are basically out of their control. If a person wants to take action, then they know how to do it. Letters, Telephone Calls, Email....etc.

People hold rage and anger inside, and then they have heart attacks over what? The Internet? Is it worth it? I don't think so.........

With all this angry energy on this thread alone, not to mention the entire site.....imagine putting all those people to work on ONE major project together....and WOW! Imagine the possibilities?

Put all the anger here and we could build a few Habitat for Humanity Homes............Collect food for the towns food bank where each person lives.........etc. etc. etc. Just Imagine?

TTYL......Keep On Keeping On!
Love, ((((hug)))) a little hug
Mom
