Designer - I have to give your credit for guts... although none for brains. You are going to come on here and post for everyone to see that the sole reason your customer got their product which you charged Postage and INSURANCE on is because you mother happened to be in a local hospital. You then admit to trespassing and then state that the buyer should take responsibility tfor an unpredictable situation that YOU created without her knowledge? You have GOT to be kidding.
I don't usually advocate the posting of IDs on here but with the absolute and complete lack of integrity, compounded by your almost humorous level of arrogance I know that I would love to know it so that I can be sure to stay far far away from your auctions.

You are friend of shop4shoes and you agree with her even when she is wrong. I delivered securely just like the post office. Is no better than when I put the shoes in her house. It was HER cat that damaged the shoes. Animals should not be around exspensive things because sometimes they will break them. If the dog broke them should I pay too? No because it is not fair to me to pay for anothers animal badness.
The shipping refund is fair. I am a good seller and wil not be defrauded.

Based on how this thread has been going, I want to see the auction or I am reverting to my original statements that shop4shoes is exaggerating and how convenient that the "note" was found after it was brought up about the neighbor...
Kira quite possibely is correct....

Wow, the title of this certainly is accurate. I am definitely NOT a friend of shop4shoes, I am simply a person who is interested in this message board and I comment as I see fit. How dare you blame her for having a cat!!?!?! If you had asked for permission to deliver, you would have found out that she did NOT want that to be the delivery method. I maintain that you are TOTALLY IN THE WRONG on this because you failed to deliver the shoes properly.
Refunding only the shipping is NOT fair, you are a BAD seller, and shop4shoes is the one being defrauded.
shop4shoes, I hope you paid for these with a credit card. The seller did not follow proper delivery methods, and I hope you can get your money back. Perhaps Damon can guide you, or maybe eBay's fraud insurance can help.

neon, I know that is normally the case, but since she has admitted in this thread that she did receive the shoes (albeit by another method), would PayPal still refund??? That's why I thought she might get Damon involved.

Out of lurking...
I read this thread with a sense of bogglement. At first I thought shop may have overlooked the package earlier in the day. After all what SANE person would prowl around a stranger's home that late in the evening, to leave an ebay order.
Then I read Diva's posts. She isn't sane.
Lady, you owe shops and apology and the money she paid you for the shoes. I can't beleive you are here claiming she is trying to defraud you. I hope her cats bit the s**t out of you.
I would also like to know why you were just delivering them 10 days AFTER she paid you.
You don't have Titanium balls. You have Death Stars for balls.
You are a piece of rotten, maggoty pork.

Great thread! Now some questions for the seller:
A) What if shops4shoes had something bigger than a cat?
B) What if it had simply rained and ruined the shoes (Depends on the porch I guess)
C) What if they had shot you for a burglar, or even called the police?
D) I assume if you had gotten hurt in her backyard you would have sued for damages?
E) If you accepted money for insurance and the product arrives defective, guess who gets to make it good?
F) 10:30? If it were me, you'd be looking at (C) above, and maybe (D) later.
This is just beyond stupid.

I will not write here again. You people do not want to be told the truth. You want to help and honset person be cheated.
I deliver safely when her cat growl at me. I put them where they would not get rain damage and I left a pretty note card for her. This is better than the mailmen.
She is trying to steal from me and i will not be defrauded. I have report her to ebay and I have left her a negative to prevent other honest sellers from selling to a theive. You know nothing about honesty you are stealers.

Wow!!!!!This is better than a Soap Opera. The first thing I would like to say is that nobody will come to my house to either deliver or pick up eBay items. I only know my buyers by email and that isn't enough. Nobody comes to my home that I have never met. Miss Diva in my estimation did wrong. A full refund including postage and insurance is the only way to rectify this situation and I would take nothing less. Blaming others (cats) for your mistake is terrible. Maybe you were not thinking properly or just not thinking at all but you never go to someone's residence without an invitation. What if that cat had carried those shoes away and hid them? Well anti up your refund Shop deserves a full one.

Diva - the other problem is that you accepted insurance on this andthe buyer did not recieve them in acceptable condition. They were in effect damaged during delivery and since you also happen by your own choice to be the delivery service you are responsible.
Do yourself a favor - get off the "defrauded" kick because it makes you sound ignorant and then before you make any further decisions - wait and see about the possibility of repair of the shoe and Shops very generous offer to accept reimbursement for the repair of the show if that is indeed possible.

WTF?
You deliver something at 10:30PM and expect normal people to just accept that fact?
I gave you the benefit of a doubt earlier on in this thread, you have now made me wish that the cat had bit you hard and terrible...
You had no right to neg, and you had no right to deliver those shoes that late at night, that is unacceptable.
I hope you do not post here again, you are only making things worse and digging a hole for yourself.

That will be the day when my postal person makes a delivery at 10:30 p.m.! The seller was wrong and the least (note I said "least" amount she could do is admit to it and apologize. Her excuses stink. I would never just drop by a strangers home at any hour. I don't even just drop by my mother's home. I guess some of us were raised with more manners.

Wow, watch cats! I may need to borrow them soon. Maybe things will stop "walking" out of my backyard! I hope you get your money back or some restitution. You sure as heck deserve it.

I have the right to negative her. It warns other sellers of her dishonesty.
I delivered the shoes in perfect condition. She is responsible for her cat. He neraly made me drop them when I was trying to leave them. If I had dropped them would it be my fault still and not the cat. He DID bite me but I am not asking for doctor bills because I am honest. She says she got the shoes. I did my responsibilty like ebay says. She should not have cat if she is not responsible for it. Does she take no blame if her children break things in a store? She is being differnt with me because I am an ebay seller.
My mother is sick and she comes here and lies and trys to make me to be the bad seller. SHE IS THE BAD ONE!!!!

She said she paid 10 days ago for something you decided to deliver last night - You affirmed this.
She said you delivered without notice to her home after 10 in the evening - you afirmed.
Where is the lie?

Have you actually read all the posts or just selected ones? How in the world can you blame the buyer's cat when it was the seller that trespassed onto her property at a totally unreasonable time of night? Twelve apologized to shop4shoes for doubting her. Had I seen someone in my backyard that late at night, I would have called the police and had them arrested. If you can't feel safe in your own home, where can you feel safe?

On this thread I think so-called buyer and seller are the same person or they are two people who know each other and they're just trolling all of you along.
There is a certain deja vu about all of this.
In other words, for me to believe this one I want to see the auction.

The cat shouldn't even be an issue here. Invading someone's privacy in the middle of the night should be. Charging for shipping and insurance and then dropping the package off yourself should be. Being a plain horse's patootey should be. Should we not also mention lying to the bidder and saying she didn't drop the shoes off? Or maybe the seller thinks that shop4shoes' body resides in Florida and her feet reside in Texas?

I have to disagree with you on this one. It just doesn't seem like shops style. If someone is trolling they went through some effort. It takes a credit card to be able to post. That is more effort than most trolls want to go through.
Her solution is really reasonable. If they can be repaired she wants the money for that. She isn't making any outrageous demands and everything seems to be in her normal style. Nothing really trollish about her post. She has mention many times the destructive behavior of her cat.
The seller is pretty adamant too, in what she wants. She doesn't want to be "defrauded"

DesignerDiva,
How on earth is this Shops fault for not watching her cat? Had she KNOWN you were going to leave the shoes and given you PERMISSION to do so, then she would probably have put them where the cat couldn't get them. Since she DID NOT know what you were up to, how the heck was she supposed to be "responsible" for her cat?
I wonder by looking at your posts if perhaps you are originally from another country? Maybe it's acceptable to do hand delivery there? That would be the only explanation I could come up with for you thinking ANY of this is acceptable.
I have only had one buyer pick up his item in person, and it was arranged weeks before it took place, and then the exchange took place in a public shop (the consignor's). I would never DREAM of letting a total stranger come to my home and deliver or pick up ebay goods.
Still shaking my head that you think you are being cheated here, or that you think what you did was by any stretch of the imagination acceptable.

Far from it. Credit cards are a dime a dozen, most people have more than one. Over the years here I have seen posters with more id's than you can shake a stick at. So there is nothing new about that.
Hell, my cat gets offers every other day in the mail for credit cards and he has even got actual cards.
Gawd, this reminds me of some of the old posters here.
