yeah, shop...if you can post pics of your cats, come on prove you're not making this up. Now, I am wondering....and I defended you....

The grammar of the letters that shop4 posted from the seller do not match the grammar of Diva's posts. I think someone may be pretending to be the seller. This is not the work of Fluffy. It is not shop4 either. Shop4 is strange and obsessive (which is the root of most of her problems with sellers...armchair psychology 101), but I have never gotten the impression that she lies. Diva's posts remind me very much of another regular poster to these boards.

Posting photos of shoes is no proof. Most women have a pair or two of heels that have been messed up in someway that they refuse to get rid of. My husky worked his way through countless pairs of leather sandals. I stll have some of them.

I would love to know the auction number. I do respect her wish not to post it. I avoid posting auction numbers unless I can get the seller to participate. It is not fair to them, if they are not here to tell their side of the story. In my opinion diva probably is not the seller in question.

Am I athe only one that thinks diva's posts are similar to another regular poster here?

I still think it's a hoax. The Imelda Marcos of ebay is making this stuff up.

You need a new insurnce agent if yours thinks cat claims are as high as dog claims.

My insurance agent says they get just as many claims against cats as they do dogs.

It depends on where you live and what type of homeowners her agent handles. If most of their clients have cats and not dogs it is completely reasonable. My grandmothers agent brags that he has never had a car theft claim. My grandmother lives in an area that never has car thefts.

Auctionace..Obviously you have not read about the dramatic increase of liability claims by Postmen against cat owners.

Put that way...Yep, not doubt in my mind officer...she did it...we all warned her...she is hardheaded...sometimes she grabs the cat by the tail....

Neither is yours. Most people on this board don't care about grammar or spelling. No one is grading us on it. Diva's is particularly bad though.

I think Diva's grammar sounds like she is:

A) Someone for whom English is a second language

or

B) Someone who is purposely trying to make her way of communicating look different.

Just my thoughts

Drcomm, I tend to agree with you.

The emails and note shop4 posted from her seller are not from someone that does not speak good english. It makes no sense to post emails from a seller and then later pretend to be that seller, but writing in a completely differnt manner.

Get a sketch artist and have the cat give a description of the seller.

I have a lynxpoint kitty and she used to lick the glue off envelopes and then get high and wild around the house. But I stopped her from doing it as cats have small kidneys and it can do harm to them. I have also seen her carry a bone china cup across the floor so she has amazing strength. She also shreds paper and she can throw things as high as the ceiling.

But trying to divert the thread to cat talk and showing pics of cats proves nothing.

B) Someone who is purposely trying to make her way of communicating look different.

YUP! And it's a very sorry attempt at best.

Show us the auction. Give us proof.

This is not the work of jerry12. He had style. It had a very distinct style and this is not him.

And Tom, how come Ralphie sleeps in a cage? BTW, does he like cats?

LOL, trai. WoW, I remember some of those people that used to be on this board and it looks like they aren't buying this story either.

They've got one going on that has all the potential of dethroning BOTH the "Ant filled Pizza Box" and the "Tiny Wrists" threads from chat board history!

Tom, he's a doll!

My mother's employer has a herd of BTs.

Yep, you read that right..a herd. He has four of them and takes them to work every day with him. They follow him around wherever he moves. If he leaves without them, they post themselves near the door and then stampede when he comes through it. They are such adorable, loving little dogs.

THE CLUE TO THE BUYER'S EBAY ID WAS IN ONE OF HER POSTS. SHE HAS EDITED IT. NOT JUST THIS THREAD. I HAVE SEEN CLUES IN OTHER POSTS. IF YOU ALL HAD PAID ATTENTION AND NOT BEEN DISTRACTED BY THE FLEABAGS EATING HABIT, YOU WOULD HAVE NOTICED IT BEFORE IT WAS EDITED. I CANT BE THE ONLY ONE THAT PICKED UP ON IT.

IF YOU DID. LOOK AT THE FEEDBACK LEFT FOR THE SELLERS. THAT IS HOW TO FIGURE WHICH AUCTION IT IS. IF THE SELLER IS THE SAME PERSON POSTING HERE, SHE HAS DUMBED HERSELF DOWN.

I INVITED THE SELLER OVER TO THIS BOARD. IN CASE THE BUYERS INVITE GOT LOST. I JUST DON'T THINK ANYONE WOULD DELIVER A PACKAGE 10 AT NIGHT.

Not unclesmonkey on any auction site.

You aren't. I respect both the seller's and sfs's right to privacy. It has been discussed here on this board that some people get their kicks from interfering with the auctions of others. I would not give my id out or an auction number that revealed it. Personally, I don't think DesignerDiva is the seller in question. If she is, she has a wicked since of humor.

You guys have some really handsome pets.

Yes, that's it. I like how the pictures the buyer posted was a total different color from the ones EG had and just about everyone suddenly took the buyer's side.

Wow, I cant believe this topic is still going strong! This should get the July Topic of the month award!!

That one siamese or persian cat you have looks mighty mean. I've had cats all my life
and they've never chewed shoes. Always thought that was a dog thing?? What I've seen is they might start kicking and wresting with one, but they get bored of that very quickly. (I think they like a roll of toilet paper much better. lol.)
But they do all have their own personality and if you have alot of 'shoes around'- which I am sure you do - if they get mad at you, they will find a way to go after what you give your attention to.

But what sounds unrealistic to me is, a cat going after someone and biting them. A stranger. Most cats dont do that. They run from strangers and only fight when cornered. They're not like dogs. Hense the term "fraidy cat."

I would like to know the buyer so I can activate my block bidder option since I don't have cat chewing insurance to cover my products after delivery.
If folks want their transactions to be private they should refrain from posting them in public forums. As of now this incident is between the imaginary buyer, seller and cat.

The seller has not posted here and she has the right to privacy. If she did post here she still has that right. So does the buyer.

Going to a public hospital does not give the hospital the right to put my personal information out for everyone to see.

The imaginary buyer should have invited the imaginary seller and the imaginary cat here to defend themselves immediately after her first post
