Mezu,
I guess I missed that, eh?

IMHO, nobody has to post anything of their identity. This is all entertainment folks its not the supreme court!

No but if you go to the public hospital with herpes everyone will see your sores.

If you go with internal bleeding no one will see.

The imaginary buyer should have invited the imaginary seller

She did invite the seller. As have others.

The whole thread never made sense ( or since if your shop4shoes educated ) because both ebay IDs were NARUed. Assuming most posters use another posting ID here then an edit by ImeldaMarcosdeEbay to cover another ID so someone could have invited the seller over here in the first place.

These boards get very dull and someone just wanted to have some fun.

Her user id here has nothing in common with her ebay id. What she edited was some info that would give her buyer id. Most posters don't use their ebay id.

Auctionace the clue wasn't in her AW user name it was in her posts.

Her picture host is another big clue

Her picture host has nothing to do with her id. The names are not close.

Tomwiii: She said something in a post, but edited it pretty quickly. It stuck in my head and I dug a little and found her id. I looked at the auctions she won and one did match up. I used the ebay system to send the seller a link to this thread.

Shop4 isn't one of my favorite posters. She has been posting here since '99. She is kooky, but I don't think she is a liar. I think she is telling the truth as she sees it.

I do want to hear the seller's side. After 10 to drop off a package at a stranger's house. CRAZY!

grumpyebayer, sorry but I won't be e-mailing anyone over this discussion or any other discussion.

I feel if anything is said, it can be said right here for all to see. I have no grudges with anyone.

If this kooky saga is true it would make bad press for ebay. Sellers going in backyards and placing packages by backdoors late at night and cats attacking them. Better stay the hell away from ebay unles you want that kind of stuff happening in your life.

Ebay deserves the bad press, come on Andy Roone or Charles Gordon or Charles Osgood. One of you old farts pick up the ball and run with it on this offbeat new story.

I kind of hated that he turned my comment into that, but decided not to say anything. It in no way was meant to discredit shop4shoes at all.

I don't think you have grudges against anyone. I had a question about something I thought you said earlier (another post) and didn't want to be mistaken. I found the answer on my own.

grumpyebayer, maybe I didn't word it right. I just get the feeling that if anyone asks me to e-mail them within a thread of this kind that others may think things are going on behind the scenes and I never want to be involved in that.

What I meant about grudges is that no matter what happens on a message board I just move on. I may agree with them and laugh with them on one thread and disagree on another. Heck, I don't even hold a grudge against twelvepole and most of the time we fight like cats and dogs.

Well, the DesignerDiva has a FB rating of -1...She has one neg as a NPB and a neutral rating from a buyer.

She no good seller. Me no buy from her. Cat kill her.

It's all a sham. Did the seller come here and register as DesignerDiva? A dead NARUed account? Or was it conicidental that the name she chose to register at Vendio was a NARUed ebay ID? Why was she so worried about her ebay reputation being soiled if no one but a few early witnesses to the thread figured out the transaction at all?

Sig liberated from OTWA ... since they are bad children and can not play with sig files anymore.

AuctionAce, I didn't figure out the transaction either, nor do I know the IDs of the buyer or seller.

And even if I did I wouldn't let the cat out of the bag. (had to say that for grumpyebayer)

That's a problem on boards that allow edits. A poster sees a post and then comes back later and it is then altered or gone. VD ( what a shortcut horrible acroynm for Vendio ) has an option that allows an email to be sent when ever a reply was made Email Notification: emails sent to you whenever someone replies and this can let someone see edits that were made if they don't mind a mailbox full of these emails. Emails can be altered so even that proof depends on trusting the person not to edit the email from VD.

There were hoaxes in the past and this one looks very similar. Hoax or no hoax it was an entertaining thread and got a lot of community participation and even got the other board over theresomewhat envious of this place.

Ralphie has rather strong views concerning folks of the feline persuasion -- views which are inappropriate for the tender sensibilities of polite company...
