No, no. It was the asterisks...resembling as they do the universal you-know-what....

Are we kitties now verboten on AW? I so hate being reduced to an *!

Pussy cat, Pussy cat, where have you been?
I've been to London, to visit the Queen!
Pussy cat, Pussy cat, what did you there?
I frightened a mouse from under her chair!
-----Richard Scary's Big Book of Rhymes

Perhaps it's different if it is the pussy doing the chasing?

Hello Everyone,

The Mod Squad has been in discussion regarding interpretation of the profanity section of the CG's since last week and we have come up with a consesus.

The posts above with the word that some find offensive (as evidenced by the use of *'s as missing letters) is apparently a direct quote from a public figure so we will let it stand.

Should a comment using profanity or sexist or sexually explicit remark be directed to another AW member, it will of course be treated as an insult.

The posts that were deleted have been restored.

Thanks for bearing with us while we sorted this out.

Oh! Thank God! We pussycats can still chase our mice across AW without benefit (or subterfuge) of the great asterisk!

Oh....Kennnnnn!

Remember the TV Cartoon Show "Josie and the Pussycats"?

I see there are many web sites dedicated to the show.

Barry (maybe I watch too much TV) Barris

Sure, Barry (a true renaissance man!) Barris, I remember that!

We'll have to compare notes later, though...this pussy seems to have chased her mouse to a corner...and now to devou...errrr, the denouement....

God, I love being the chaser, and not the "chasee"...

Hi, Charlotte...yes, feeling better, thanks. Most recent surgery was last Wednesday, and we had a few bobbles in this one, but I think they are resolved.

Had some tough news from my oldest brother today, but this isn't the place, and it will all fall right, eventually.

Thanks for asking! How is it with you and yours?

Good Beth. Still on dialysis, still on crutches, but they are managing better.

I am just being lazy. It feels good!

Will wait for your news and hope you are right and all goes well in the end. It is good to see ya.

KRS...you do come up with some thought provoking questions.
