when my cat was a kitten, he was very ill and the vet swears that my singing "Baby Face" to him every day, was what pulled him through!

Debtrek: your vet is right. I had a similar experience with my Bearded Dragon, Tucker. He was a surprise present on my birthday 3 or 4 years ago & was only as long as my forefinger. A week later this little scaly baby began to fade. The vet said there was nothing specifically wrong with him, but that "that's the way it is sometimes in nature--weaker ones get weeded out." Uh uh. I told him no pet of *mine* was fading away! I hand fed Tucker a special liquid formula several times a day for two weeks, all the time singing to him. It was a bit embarrassing, as I'd made up a little "Tucker" song for him--but it worked, he started eating up a storm. To this day I still sing him "his" song & he'll perk right up when he hears it

to this day, he STILL loves hearing his "special" song, even if sometimes I feel like a real doofus singing it, LOL!
