I admittedly am more of a "reader" than a poster - but am one who enjoys all of you - and learn much from all of you - so I want to wish all of you a very merry and blessed holiday season and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas from Sunny San Diego -
To fenix03 - Some of us LOVE the Sun! That's why we live here.

BTW - It is supposed to snow in the mountains on Christmas - so for those who want snow - drive to the mountains! To the rest of the country - can you believe people in San Diego will actually DRIVE to the mountains when it snows??? They take their pickup trucks, shovel snow into them & then bring the snow down to the valleys!

Local - I love the sun too but there is something undeniably magical about the sky at night just before it snows .

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Local-Bringing up going to the mountains to bring back snow in trucks brought back my high school days in Escondido. Kids would load up their trucks and come back down to Escondido (in the valley) and dump the snow out of their truck beds. Then everyone would go running their cars through it.

Here in Tulsa, OK where I'm at now no-one likes driving in the snow. Me included. When it snows here we usually get some kind of icing too so it makes driving a real headache. Miss those days in CA where driving in snow was actually fun.
