holy cow ... just looked at the live map ... i swear it's circling to go over Jax momentarily !@@@ .... poor Tom and Ralphie and half my fam that lives there!!!! ... it was supposed to go across the state, but it looks like it is circling back!!!

INDICATE A TORNADO. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR NASSAU SOUND AND
WAS MOVING NORTHWEST AT 55 MPH. OTHER STORMS OVER THE COASTAL WATERS
WERE CAPABLE OF GENERATING TORNADOES AND WERE MOVING TOWARD AMELIA

got worried looking at current map ... hurricane IS right OVER Jax as i type this ... i called my mom down there... she said she was at my sisters' (few blocks away) and the power went out while turky was in oven, couple hours ago,..... she finished cooking it on the grill in screened in porch, ate by candle light, then mom headed home in real bad blowing rain ... ... i was talking with her on her house (landline phone cord) house phone and got cut off ... she called back and said power had cut out again, talked a few more sentences, then got cut off again .... ... i waited a few mintues and tried to call HER back and it was 'no answer' so i guess her landlines are down now too .....

I dont know how much more battering that state can take! I would never live there after 4 storms in a row! wonder if many will be thinking the same thing and head north!
