Well...

Rather be:

I FINALLY got an auction up, on Overstock, but I had GREATLY modified & shortened the template from what I use on eBay.

WHAT I see as the MAJOR problem with OVERSTOCK is the SEARCH it pulls up everything but the kitchen sink, can't they see/understand/comprehend that?

I'll continue to post a few things, hoping and praying that the "Big O" will get it together, and make a half decent site.

You're too funny. I'm surprised you weren't included on the list. But then, you are a man. Maybe she finds it easier to be nasty to women. Maybe she's afraid Ralphie will come bite her on the behind. Who knows? Lucy and I wear the badge with honor!!!!!!!!

Did you build your template? I mean did you start with a background and add the graphic? I want something that looks nice and professional, but everything seems to turn out looking cheap. I wish I could use the one I have from Vendio.

I made a template using FrontPage. I design my logo using PhotoImpact 8 (a great program that rivals Photo Shop Pro). I use a table format. If you'd like (if you use Front Page), I can email you a blank table format. You'd have to add your own images and backgrounds and upload them to Vendio or whoever hosts your photos. You can email me if you'd like a blank template. [email protected].

I create all my auction templates with FrontPage, and keep up with the constant updates, and changes for our 4 websites via FrontPage.

We use the older full size version, "FrontPage 1998." It is a much larger version than "FrontPage 2000." We purchased "FrontPage 2000," tried it, found it limited for our endless web site needs, and just removed it and went back to "FrontPage 1998."

BUT even using "FrontPage," what I create, and what comes up on OVERSTOCK.com is exactly NOT the same.

I figure if the Big O system is doing that to my auctions, that most other auctions have got to look as "less than professional," also.

That is what happened to me. I copied an auction from eBay and took out some things that were eBay only. When I looked at it on a practice site, it looked fine. But when I put it on O the background was gone.
