I always wonder why people have the need to tell others where to post or what to post.....if you dont like the thread topic -then dont go into it/read it. Isnt that simple enough?
Imo, the election is a big event in this country and in one way or another will effect everyone - even ebay sellers.

Damariscotta did you have something to say? ;o)
I'd say my 9 year old knows way more than the democrats. She has more interest in Fox News and presidential history than 99% of the kids she is in contact with. She could carry on an adult conversation with the best of them (adults that is...)

pick my 6 year old granddaughter, Tiffany, up from school everyday. She's an old 1st grader. Out of nowhere she makes the following declaration:
"When I grow up, I'm going to be president because no one knows how to run this country".
I think my jaw hit the floor. I literally had to pull the car over to the side of the road I was laughing so hard.
What an honest statement from a 6 year old!

WOW Damariscotta - you are the first person I have ever put on "ignore" and that's just so i can read this post.
I would say that the election DOES have ebay relevance TODAY...I also agree that the RT is not a place that innocents want to post for the first time. Elections have more relevance than two buck chuck or escargot servers or what Fluffy is up to....
I'd say for ONE DAY only -- let her rip! and then PUT POLITICS TO REST for another 4 years.

Enough of the repetitive posts. Funny at first. Now it's hard to read the thread.
I won't speak another word on politics when this is over, I swear.
I wish I did not have to work tonight because I want to watch the updates on TV.

Now it's hard to read the thread....
And this would be a loss?
This may seem like an obnoxious way to make a point, but, since popular opinion seems to feel that this part of the board should also become a free-for-all, I figure, why not go with the flow.
After all, as mukluk and rotorooter will surely point out, we can all just set everyone on "ignore"

It's not a free for all.
it's one freaking thread.
If you don't like it, don't read it.
It won't be posted in 100 different threads. It's maintained here.
This is a big deal. I dont mind it. If I did I'd be reading about some numpty not paying someone or something.

Darm - you definately have proven a point. Of course I doubt that the point you were trying to prove is that you have the mentality of five year old child as well as some rather dramatic control issues but such is life....
