Because no matter how bad the Republican, I could never vote for a Democrat as their ideology is just to foreign to me.

I think it's interesting that most of you are for the guy who thinks you're working a "lemonade stand" on ebay. Some day we will all look back at this and UNDERSTAND Why.
I still don't understand why people aren't bothered by Hussein "Hitler" slaughtering all his people over there. It rips at my heart to know that because people had a different view than Sadam , they were ripped to pieces--eyes gouged-RAPED-tongues cut out-ears cut off-MURDERED. Just think if we were living in Iraq, each one of you would be hunted down and murdered for voicing your opinion. I just don't understand why so many people don't care about that. I'm not blaming anyone in my statement--I really don't understand this thinking.

I can only speak for myself - but I realize there are horrible people out there. I have no illusions about Saddam Hussein.
What I object to is the hypocrisy of this government. They put the man in power, they gave him weapons to stay there - knowing what he was.
That 1M people have been murdered in Rwanda by a madman we put in office and we are doing nothing.
That 1M people in Sudan will die of hunger this year because some 'militants' herd them into a small area, raping, mutilating and killing as they do it. And what are we going to do? Well, after a long time of being asked the question, I think we are going to send some food! Nothing to change the situation.
That people in China are being put in prison so they can use the prisoners to make all the geegaws American big business sends for us to purchase. That baby girls are killed - because they are worthless. And we are giving them MFN status. We are sending billions upon billions to them through the trade deals made that favors them - and American big business. We don't just do nothing - we build factories for them, we put in place the apparatus that allows them to keep their foot on the people's necks.
That children around the world are spending 14 hours a day making shoes, soccer balls, etc. so American big corporations can have a better bottom line and pay their CEO's hundreds of millions per year - plus perks.
No, I am under no illusions about Saddam Hussein. The illusions are held by those who can be fed the pap that we went to Iraq to get 'that madman' out of power. The man who heads the new government has been called 'Saddam lite'. Wake up. It had nothing to do with WMD, Saddam, or 9/11. Put the pieces together - they just don't fit.
