lovepotions -- I offered to mail the items back to her on the condition that I receive a full refund with shipping. She refused. Only a idiot would send back an item without the seller's agreement.
It looks like she's not going to respond to the Paypal complaint (at least she hasn't yet and it's been 4 days). Her sales are very low (with the exception of the auction I've won) and has nothing listed at this time. She probably cleaned out her Paypal account which means that I will be out of my $35.00. I would rather take the books and throw them in the trash than to allow her to have the books and my money.

After Paypal approves that the refund is valid, you are told to ship the item(s) back to the seller and provide Paypal with a tracking number.
The Seller confirms receipt of the item or Paypal will confirm receipt via the tracking number.
Paypal then issues the refund. At least that is how it worked for me.

Yes, Caroline, I know and I am prepared to do that. BUT, I am not just going to ship the items back until I am instructed from Paypal.

Edited because I hadn't noticed other responses prior to mine on second page...

Jack ... I'm sorry to hear that happen to you, but I'm not dishonest. If Paypal does refund my money, whether or not they say I have to send them back, I will send them back.
