Kitty, we cannot figure out which LOCKED thread you are talking about, lol, and you didnt leave me a negative? I have a neutral over there from you, only because you were mad at all of us cause you got your mouth smacked again, lol, there is no negative in my feedback
Have a great day
Your global accusation is beyond the pale:
"Bidbay is not a place that an honest seller would want to be associated with."
I encourage you to come visit the site, and bid on an item or two. List there a bit ~ let the people know you're there by posting a chat. I think your opinion may change, BidBay is a a nice place to list, a great place to buy, and anything but dishonest in my experience.
Folks don't come more honest than me, believe me. You'll find me under UserID eboom.
Please, make BidBay an experience that is actual before passing such harsh and global judgments. You, and everyone here, are welcome to come and see what a great place BidBay is becoming. This is my personal invitation to you. You may win a contest, you may not ~ but you will probably have a SUPER experience, and stay, like I have, since the Spring.
If there was dishonest stuff in the beginning, those folks are gone, goodbye, outta here. I hope you will take me up on my offer, it is open to everyone who reads this:
http://bb7.bidbay.com/
I especially encourage you to find a link on the home page for giving@home.
And, if you ever find dishonesty, anywhere, you are right to bring it to a public forum. But, if no dishonesty exists and you say it does, I believe that is deceitful. Please feel free to prove me wrong, or eat your words, said with the utmost respect, mindful of the moderator I think those words may have a bitter taste, because they formed from sour grapes. It's apparent to me one of us is correct and one incorrect. I think you have to get a BidBay experience to speak to the issue. Once you do, please let me know. I've got some delicious sweet concord grapes on the side of the house
IMHO, your statement about 'no honest sellers would be associated with BidBay' is wrong. I am there. Come with an open mind, and see for yourself. As a new site, and a significant alternative to the gorilla, bidders are Most Especially Welcome, check out the contest for the HummBug
Happy Labor Day To All Americans reading this today
To everyone else, Hello From The States

Thanx Vette I guess I went to bed early and missed it being closed, I was confused, lol. I dont understand why people automatically say bad things about new places sometimes. Aren't all auction sites new at one time? So theres problems at times, that happens everywhere. If they went to a new place early, in the beginning, and had a bad experience, why not just come back later and see how much it has improved? I have seen some bad things over here to, but I will not go around bad mouthing this place.I guess it's just the internet, there are crazy things happening all over, lol
Have a great nite all!

Hello,
I visited bidbay recently after learning about them from internetwire.com with their recent hack attacks. I've been selling on ebay for years and it's time for a change.
I've checked bidbay's pricing and it's free. That's nice. They have some action and I'm a believer that it's just a matter of time before they are well recognized.
Free listings, how can I go wrong with an action site.

Shoot me now, I am such an idiot... I'm sitting here reading through all the posts, la la la, and thinking BidPAY, not BidBay, and I'm hopping over to BidPay' site, looking around, looking around and for the life of me not being able to find anywhere anything about listing or watching autcions. Anyone else have these moments? ACK!

"You have to admit, the ceo of a company pleading with the membership to drive up the numbers does look a bit tacky."
=========================================
And what about the hundreds of dollars GOLD's paid you and others to up their numbers in the beginning? And the phone calls back and forth between you and the CEO or whatever he was supposed to be? And members of the site are still holding up the site by bidding on each other's auctions.

You know, I always wondered why certain ones were left alone to cause trouble. Hummm, Favortism for Favors. Hummmm!
Must explain all the Featured Auctions by some on oddball item numbers. Those kind of Featured Auctions should have cost $1,000 at least. Free obviously as privately rewarded incentives.
And yeah, that "Since Long Gone" CEO JF supposedly lied to everyone in those phone calls and is being blamed for leaving the Site in a Mess by the Invisable CEO's.
Only place I know where the Owners Hide from everything. Not even the Staff claim to know who they are or their wherabouts.
Strange, I always knew who the owners I worked for were.

Methinks you forgot.[/b]

Check the date of the post on this thread you are referring to. Then go and check the threads for the CEO's words.
Any credits that I have received to my Gold's account are the same as anyone else listing on the site. ALL incentives were posted to the announcement board for anyone to read and participate if they so choose, not limited to posting to a thread to be eligible to participate. In fact, the announcements are still there for anyone to read.
Numerous telephone calls? I had 2 conversations with a spokesperson for Gold's, as did many early members, yourself included.
I can't say I am among those who are bidding on each other's auctions. Most of my feedbacks are from users who are NOT regular posters of any of the lounges.
Nope, my memory is fully intact. But thanks for checking!

Sorry to Disagree here, but Certain Incentives were mentioned, but no where does it "How Many" Credits were given to several members. For all we know, you may have been given 5,000 listing credits there.
I know for a Fact that some have had unlimited listing privileges.
So not all was made public here, not even Josh's departure in February.
Still the question exist here and that is "Who in the heck owns this company and where are they"?
Sorry situation when owners won't even address the ones who are suppose to make them Succeed!

I listed 78 items at bidbay a few weeks ago and 18 sold. Not bad for having no feedback. A majority of the items were cheeeep , but not all of them. I am pleased with the results so far, but it will just supplement my selling, not be my predominant selling site. I did have a problem with bidding as it reads proxy bids as true bids. When I asked the tech, he treated me like dirt until a bunch of others came on the thread and backed me up. That left a real bad taste in my mouth about Bidbay, but not the buyer's/sellers. For the most part, they are a great crew and I appreciate their support on my auctions! I will remain on Bidbay with some items, but won't put all my eggs there!

I took my best seller on ebay which takes about three days average for a BIN bidder to take it, and put up a listing on Bidbay. After two weeks still no takers. Maybe the buyers are specialized in certain categories, I'm just testing the waters now. Bidbay looks the most promising, but with fees just around the corner I may as well keep looking for another site to try out.
