I cry as I read this, and the article. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family also. Luckily my 17 year old daughter was riding with me as we were just behind an accident last Wednesday night. We knew everyone involved. I still see it when I think about it. A 20 year old trying to pass on snow covered roads, rolled his truck 4 times. Only one of the three in the truck is seriously hurt. Thank God. It sent a message to my daughter, that I hope stays with her for a long time.
God bless your family in the days ahead.

My heart-felt sympathy goes out to your family. There are words for losses like this, orphan for children, widow(er) for spouses; but none for parents. A tragedy so horrendous that we don't have a word for it.
Please encourage the owners to put that car on a trailer and drag it around to all the schools before prom time.

Maybe we could take a minute out of our day on Friday at 11:00. I will say a prayer at this time. "His father will officiate". Don't know how anyone could have the strength to do this.

sanmar - I think your comment is out of line considering the situation. I have no problem with the post in this forum as there are less loon's to be found here when compared to some of the other forums. They post in the OT alot, people here know them and respect them and just wanted to let their friends here know what tragedy had struck their family.
Pix and Neglus - Ignore the above post. I doubt you will find many other like minded people here. Once again let me express my deepest sympathies and condolences during these troubled times.

Neglus & Pixiamom:
I never know the appropriate thing to say at times like this, so maybe a little story from Ralphie can help...
My grand-munchkins are VEEERY religious -- the oldest we call the "little nun."
Anyhoo, a few years ago, they were staying overnight & were getting ready for bed -- they (2 girls, ages 6 & 10) in my bedroom (I got the couch). Ralphie sleeps in his wire crate in my bedroom, placed in a corner.
Everynight, he goes thru the same funny ritual before falling asleep. He has a "pillow" (a plush toy in the shape of a bone) which he picks up & then circles his cage 3 times before dropping it in EXACTLY the same spot he started! Then he folds his paws on top of the pillow and lays his head on top of his paws, and, if he happens to be looking up at you, it looks just like he's in "prayer!"
Anyhoo, I asked the girls: "Didja say your prayers?" "No, not yet" I said: "Well, wait until after Ralphie is done saying his!"
This really set them off squealing & laughing and spouting: "Ralphie don't say prayers!"
I said: "Oh yeah? Watch him!"
I told Ralphie to "go to your house, boy! Don't foreget your prayers!" He went in & did his thing while the girls watched, totally flummoxed as he laid his paws on top of his pillow, placed his head on top of his paws, raised his head up & CLOSED HIS EYES!
The girls just sat there, totally spellbound -- then the younger whispered to her older sister: "Wow! He really DOES pray!"
Maybe he DOES...Who knows?? But, I do know that he & I are sending our warmest "before-going-to-sleep" wishes to YOU and YOUR FAMILY...

sanmar,
Your comment was completely uncalled for. As is obvious from the overwhelming amount of posts to this thread... this community DOES care. Neglus and Pixiamom have both been outstanding contributors to these discussion boards. If knowing that there are many of us here that care about them, helps them through this troubled time... then I don't think that there's anything wrong with the placement of this post. We are all eBay'ers, but we are also all people too.
Again, Neglus and Pixiamom... I am so sorry for you loss.
