I am a lookee-loo-lurker almost every day cuz' it never fails to amaze me how much help is on this board. (Like the day I wondered what was going on with Ebay's "search" and when I came here I found out that it was not just me.)

I just had a nerve block in my neck and shoulder so it is not so painful to type and I can post more now.

Ouch Minni that would be a real pain in the neck. Wife has had some of those.

This is the second series I have had in the last couple of months. I got really nausiated with the first series. It was really worth it because after a few days, there is no pain so I guess the saying "no pain, no gain" is correct... hahaha

How is your wife doing now?

I'm as regular as possible, but I have a problem with irritability.

Q. What kind of car does a proctologist drive?

Ok so this guy is sitting in a Proctologists examination room waiting for the doctor and he's looking at the medical instruments on a stainless steel tray. He sees all sorts of stuff on the tray that he has a pretty good idea of they are and what they are for but there is also a bottle of beer and he's perplexed by that. All of a sudden the doctor comes in and the asks him about the bottle of beer. The doctor immediately opens the door and shouts, NURSE I SAID I NEEDED A BUTT LIGHT.

I'm pretty regular for a person of my age and eating habits. I've been reading this board almost daily for about 8 years which helps.

I'm a VERY regular watcher, many times a day right after I check eBay. A fairly regular for asking help, and a not too regular helper!

I check the eOutlook every day. I lurked for years before I saw a question I HAD to answer. It is the only board I post to. There is great eBay/web sale info but also some terrific OT threads.

I feel sure it was here that I read the hint to open hard to remove screw on lids by sticking the point of a "church key" type bottle opener under the edge and lifting gently. Works great! It really saves me when my husband is not around to help with tough to get off lids. Thanks to whoever posted that hint.

Sadly, I've become quite irregular of late. However, I am in the process of eating my McDonald's yummy Asian salad. I should be regular again in no time. Then again, it could take all summer!

Minnie the wife is doing ok sort of she hurts a lot but has decided not to go the injections again, LOL her right now philosophy is don't make it worse. The shots only worked for a little bit and said the initial super pain was just not worth it to her. Besides she likes to suffer I am beginning to believe.

I finally gave up on all that happy hooRah -- now I'm just a RUSH L. JR!

Poppin da pills...poppin da pills...

DURAGESIC PATCH tried that they make mrs irked puke aside from not helping. Might as well drink water she says.
Good news is that she doesn't take much of anything now due to her weird stomach and has gotten a little better by not taking pain medications. Though some days she says she would kill for a good pain pill.

Tom,
Is the Duragesic patch an opiate?

Funny you should mention Rush...I was beginning to think that I was turning into a female version of him...

minniestuff:

DURAGESIC PATCH is really just the BRAND NAME for the generic opioid: FENTANYL which is about 20X stronger than MORPHINE:

http://www.duragesic.com/

It can ONLY be used by opioid tolerant patents: IOW: those who have worn out their present pain med therapy to various extents...

I've worn out my present regimen of OXYCODONE pills, and I cannot tolerate OXYCONTIN, nor MS-CONTIN, so the options available to me are getting fewer & fewer...

Tell the truth, if it weren't for RALPHIE & my GRAND-PUPPIES, I'd just as soon check out for that BIG auction-house in the sky...

sorry you are in such pain, Tom. I have epidurals in my back about every 4 - 6 months and they work wonders. I feel so good I overextend and then pay for it.
