That venom spewing business came from both sides, of which many of those posters only go to the RT. There used to be funny threads and ones that were fun to post in...and then there were the political threads, or ones that could easily get that way.
I like Colin's site cuz it's got all the stuff the RT used to be like. And there IS a section for eBay, which I have gone to.
But, imo, there's no reasoning to condemn what you don't know. Go... You're welcome. Or not.... Your choice.

Twig, you were always a respectful poster on the RT so it’s certainly nothing against you. Defending Vendio's site is not condemning Colin's site. Since Piinthesky does not receive the personal experience he seeks when he posts at Vendio, hopefully he will receive it there.
Though it went both ways on the RT, at least four of those RT posters have now been permanently banned from Otwa for their same type of actions. Hopefully you understand that I am tired of the board wars that are caused when we disagree politically and why I feel as Cheryl does and no longer wish to constantly defend myself against being labeled incorrectly by those who do not know me.

All that I wanted to do was to let the good people of the Ebay Outlook know where we went and that they were invited to join in on the fun with us but people that still hold a grudge like Cheryl, Kiara and a few others cannot handle that and so they feel it necessary to berate those that have become members there and are having loads of fun.

I hold no grudges and can handle things quite well, Piinthesky so don’t project any grudge you may carry on me. I see it this way.
Though our neighbor may disagree with us on some political issues and run different businesses than we do we can still go to his house and have fun and treat each other with mutual respect. This neighbor has never had our names on an A-hole list on one of his gates.
When we entered another house to have fun he and his buddies that were there did not call us sluts, whores or the C word and they were not building coffins for us or calling us terrorist lovers, communists or socialists. None were ranting and accusing us of having low moral character while clutching their Bibles.
If the guys with us did not agree with them on some issues the neighbor and his buddies did not insinuate they must be gay and then go into ugly and lurid details about how much they hate homosexuals. They did not go to other neighbors’ houses and do those things either.
Unfortunately those of you that have been booted have done the same thing at other places and nothing will convince me you have changed in a couple of weeks. Now you are here slamming Vendio when you were partly responsible for the reputation of the RT and you are spamming Vendio for fresh meat for Colin's board.
Others can make their own decisions. I have made mine.

It was an analogy.

I never meant for this to be a bash on RT! I simply for a brief instance had an interest in what the thread that was locked was about.
BUT since the RT subject has emerged, I do have a question. WHY would posters post anyone is a imposter, just because they had never or seldom posted at their holy grail?
Anyway , anyone who wants to sit at the RT has every right to do so. Anytime I feel the urge I will pull up a chair do so myself .

Well all I can say to all of this is that the Rev's new board MUST be an interesting place because it is being discussed in several threads at two other boards that I know of.
Oh and Kiara, the consensus is that we do not want you there, among a few others. You and others like you have consistantly shown that you only have the ability to participate in discussions in a detremental and negative way. Thusly, it shows that you do in fact hold a grudge and we don't want your grudge-match arguments over there.

pi - I don't hold a grudge against anyone. That would be a waste of my time and energy. I'm too busy doing other more constructive things this summer. I'm more politically involved and am doing more things with my family. My mother's Alzheimer's is worsening and I spend more time with her. I simply don't have the desire to spent hours at a time on a message board. Perhaps closer to November when the Dems will take back the House and Senate. . .LOL! Just had to add that. I wouldn't be me if I didn't.
At any rate, I hope you guys enjoy the board over at Colin's. I don't begrudge any of you.

Again, numerous feeble accusations were brought forth but no actual proof was ever presented. Unless you can show actual proof of your claims on this then I have to suggest that you shut your mouth because all you are doing is spreading more viscious lies that are designed to color peoples opinions or thoughts about others.

And while i'm at it, i'll tell ya'll just what sort of a crowd we are. We are a crowd that believes in being fair to all. We are a crowd that believes in Democracy and as such we held a vote for our entire community to participate in to rename the board. The people of our board have spoken and by their vote it is now known as Rev's Roadhouse. No one was excluded from voting and even as new members showed up their votes were counted as well.
Now, to let ya'll know a little about the crowd we left behind at the RT. They do not believe in Democracy. They believe that they have to silence people by running to the Administrators of THIS board whenever someone says sonmething that hurts their feelings. And remember that, that was the crowd that for years had an unfair advantage over the rest of this entire board by having advanced search methods that they would not share with everyone. Advanced search methods that could have benifitted everyone. They don't believe in fair and equal treatment.

That comes from both sides of the political spectrum. I, myself, have never turned anyone in. I will be honest enough to say that I sure was tempted a few times.
I happen to like Kiara and Helen. At times I've liked Linda (we do agree on the immigration issue). Okay, even once or twice Colin. Maybe you have your reasons over there for shunning Kiara and I really don't have the desire to know what those reasons are. I, for one, would rather not participate in a board that shuns anyone.
JMHO. Now, everyone enjoy the rest of your Monday! It seems as though the heat wave is over here in Ohio (for now anyway).
