I think that the magazine is well-worth reading and that you will find coverage of political issues critical of both parties. And of course, there is editorial opinion.
Hope you enjoy the reading, James.
tootsiepop, yes I would agree with the word liberal, mainly. Perhaps at times even populist.

Hi Neelieohara - I saw Molly Ivins on a news show recently (can't remember which one, they all blend) and thought she was quite funny.

I agree pocono just look at all the layoffs across the country since the selection. Now these companies will hire them all back, but not until dumbya is out. 2002 is the first step. If the demos win alot of seats as predicted it might start shifting. I know Jeb is done in FL, and here is PA we will have another demo gov. I think in 2004 we will see a much more aggressive campaign. I was watching an interview with Maynard Jackson, and he said there will be so many african american voters in the next elections it may break all records. I do expect Gore to run, and win very big.

I'm still trying to live down the ill considered hairstyle and fashion choices I made during the '80's. Still have my Duran-Duran and Culture Club albums though!

If anyone is interested, below is the link to the article about the Bush brothers' business dealings. As I recall most, if not all, of the business dealings below have been covered by mainstream media, but it's been a little over a decade now since many surfaced. Pizzo was the author of a popular book about the Savings and Loan scandals.
