It still seems strange to me that your system could be functioning a particular way for almost a year and you suddenly make a change that results in "We just made changes to have the program function the way it was originally intended" and not think that this would affect users. An announcement should be posted if there is any chance of users being affected regardless of your reasons for doing. As you can see, many of us are having a hard time relisting as some clear - others do not - and also new closed auctions are added. It is a nightmare !

the nightmare begins...I just found out that an auction that I had relisted (as I did not know it had already been relisted...because it did not leave closed) had a winner for both. I sure hope the 2nd buyer is understanding. I have already closed a couple double-relists that thankfully had no bidders. Since the search function of Post-sale is not always accurate, I have had to literally double-reference with pen and paper from ebay to my post-sale.

For reference, I am using the words 'a relist' interchangably with the words 'a copy' (as per re-launching any auction that has closed without a bidder) as I really don't care what it is called. Whether I get a refund of the listing fee or not is not my concern (at that moment) when I re-launch an auction- it is still a 'relist' in my head as far as the actuality of it all goes. My concern with getting a refund on the listing fee if it sells is different issue.

I am also concerned that there is also not the 'item has been relisted' link that does not appear on the closed auction (as someone mentioned). I would swear that that link is always there, even if it is listed over and over and over. The auction # is always different, so that shouldn't make a difference.

Any word yet on what change triggered this- and if it is going to be put back the way it was? I can't relist this way. I do 100-200 auctions a week with similar titles- I really can't be examining each closed auction to make sure it hasn't already been relisted.
