Guys did anyone start a new thread? I don't see one. Or are we just using this one?
I almost started a new one but wanted to make sure in case someone already did. I don't know if I can handle that responsibility right now anway. LOL!
Rehearsal was cancelled AGAIN - so I will be around most of today.

3 years quite yesterday feb 28. took many many years, tried patch, gum, hypnosis, etc and nothing worked-JUST QUIT COLD TURKEY .... pick a day where you will be somewhere you can't smoke- i took a computer course for day 1 of non smoking, remember how bad your clothes smell (now i smell smokers while driving in my car from other cars) and people who smoke smell like old stale cigarettes and just quick one day -now 1 cigaratte today...what kept me going was; "YOU CAN'T HAVE JUST ONE ! " I always had to remember that and even today 3 years later. good luck -it is worth it for your self, your family, your smell, lots more money in the bank (go on vacation next year), no morning cough/flem.... you know all that.. just remember "YOU CAN'T HAVE JUST ONE!!!!"
I WAS GOING IN TO FIND PEOPLES THOUGHT ON NEW FEES-I ONLY USE AW TO AUTOMATICALLY RELEASE THOSE WONDERFUL AUCTIONS ON EBAY WITH NO DESCRIPTIONS AND TO SEND "AUTOMATICALLY THE WBN " THAT NEVER SEEM TO GO OUT MOST OF TIME-ANY OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS

Sorry I have no recommendations other than AW. I used to use GoTo also, but they charge high fees now. Maybe we all need to learn html and do it ourselves.

My grandfather saved a carbon copy of every letter he wrote for 60 years!
One of them was about smoking, written in the 50's. My father, his son in law had started smoking and he explained that each cigarette was a thread that tied you to a tree. First one is easy enough to break the tie, but then there were 3 and 4 and 5 and 45 and 4500 threads and it becomes all but impossible...
Ask yourself this.

Does everyone know that nicotine gum taste like pure crap?
I'm not feeling very inspiring right now... I just feel a little angry and freaked. But, I'm on the damned horse and I'm not getting off til I get where I'm going.
Rocker I don't know what to say to help you or anyone else today except that for me I'm so damned pissed at this feeling of helplessness that it's making me all the more determined to overcome this stupid addiction. Several people have said "do whatever you have to do." That's what I'm trying to remember and it's helping me. I'm dying my lace and stuff keeping very busy but this is where I'm coming to find the support I need right now. And, I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!

Isn't it hard to make a decision on the 1st day? Let's let one of our supporters make the decision whether or not to start a new thread. If we do, let's include the phrase YOU'RE NOT THE BOSSA ME, I'M THE BOSSA ME!, or some OTHER deep inspirational message.
I actually just drove in my car without benefit of nicotine. I was sucking on a dum dum the whole way though.

MyBid I am with ya pal, I am kinda freakin out here, and I feel lots of anger that I WANNA smoke but I CAN'T etc... BUT yeah I CAN smoke, I just choose NOT to right now for the moment. I made the choice, no one else made it for me. (I'm the bossa me.) (Minute at a time, right?) This anger is our addiction trying to lure us back. Now I remember why I went back. The anger. But this time the addiction AND THE CORRUPT CIGARETTE COMPANIES are not luring me back. (You had made a great post about NOT giving more money to these bast*ds. Let's go back and read it.)
