I'm not going to mention eBay IDs here, but I'm sure I'll be getting a neg from her shortly so you should be able to figure it out clearly.
She bought a pair of Argento Vivo DUE earrings from me. What you may not know is that Argento Vivo (not DUE) sells handmade sterling silver jewelry and it goes for way more than 99 cents, which is what she paid.
Argento Vivo DUE is a M**y's house brand. I have to excise the M**y's name from photographs under contractual obligation not to publicize my retail source.
So she receives the earrings today and promptly files a PayPal SNAD complaint. I explain the situation; she escalates it to a claim a few minutes later.
There is no possible way she could be confused. Both the photo and auction text say Argento Vivo DUE. The basis of her SNAD complaint is that the card says M**y's on it. Well, yeah, that's where it came from.
Guess I should have looked at her feedback because she has a record of pulling this kind of stunt.
And before you ask, yes, I gave her her money back. With eBay restricting sellers based on customer dissatisfaction, I could not afford to NOT give her her money back. She can keep the bloody earrings.
What do you want to bet she'll list them?

I used to work for a national liquidator who often contractually had to hide the name of original retail stores or brand names. Hundreds of thousands customers - I can't remember one of them filing a complaint because of it. This "lady" must be a real work of art. If she gives you a neg, I'm sure you can take it in stride and come back with a witty retort.

I don't for one moment believe she thought the earrings were Argento Vivo. Her feedback shows that she does this sort of thing all the time: claims misrepresentation and muscles a refund.
I don't care about the neg; I've got hundreds. It's the cost of doing business with bottomfeeders.
She buys a LOT on eBay. People should be made aware.

OTOH I've run up on a seller that conveniently misspells (or not) the word in the auction title and body. IE Chatam instead of Chatham etc etc.
It's so close as to be confusing - I've been tempted several times to email her and ask her out right but have managed to restrain myself.
I'm not saying you were guilty of this Fluffy!
geez - 99 cents she should of been happy with anything that didn't turn her ears green!

I have never seen anybody with as many neutrals and negs as a buyer.

Fluff, it is VERY clear in your auction that it is a DUE, no way could she have misread that. Besides, they were 99 cents, what on earth did she expect? They are very pretty.

hey fluff!
the name sounded familiar so I took a peek at my blocked bidder list ~ yup, you guessed it!
Now sure when she made it on there but I recall getting nasty e-mails from her ~ the kind I reply to with my "please feel free to post whatever feedback you deem appropriate, as will I."
Wish I could remember what she bought ~ No negs exchanged but a pita so I had blocked her.

Maybe you should make a small statement in you auctions regarding having to block out the source name on photos.?? Just a thought.

If she wins the Paypal dispute, she will return the item and get a full refund from you which is 6.99.
Is this how buyer gets her high shipping fee back if she is not happy with the item??

I have actually bought things from Fluffy and I consider her shipping fees VERY reasonable compared to shipping with Amazon or Overstock or other online venues.
The value of the quality of the products are exceptional. You can't even buy at the store what you can buy from Fluffy - never mind adding the shipping fees onto it.
Get a clue.

What a bunch of ignorant Bigots!
I am pointing out what could be her motive for filing complaint if she has a history of buyer remorse.

IMHO, as long as a seller states his shipping fee in his description or TOS and the seller is happy with the results in sales, that's fine.
Speaking of shipping fees, I sold on eBay a few years ago. The item I was selling cost $0.60 to ship. I start reselling and today shipped the first two items at a shipping cost of $1.30 because of "thickness". The postal worker determined the thickness with her lovely calibrated fingers of course.

My shipping fee is going up to $6.50 in September. I hate to do it, but actual postage costs more than doubled, plus prices of supplies have gone up too. The additional 50 cents won't cover all the increases.
Don't be too hard on Stop. She's not a native English speaker, so she may not be as loony as she sometimes sounds.
There's a store in Sunnyvale, CA, obviously run by Chinese. It's called "The Furnitures". Our local Chinese restaurant went to all the trouble of buying a neon sign: BEST POT STICKER IN TOWN. Every time we go by one of us says, "Geez, they've still got that potsticker."
A coda to the saga of Ms. salesqueen is that I offered to send her a non-department store earring card, free of charge. She then changed her tune and claimed the earrings I sent didn't look like the ones in the photo. Sorry, hwahwa, some people are determined to be unhappy. She's one of them.

Yep, glassgrl. I live at a certain address on a street that is East ------. There is the same address at the same ------street except West. Almost daily we get each others mail.
My last name is also the same as the street just one block to the north of me and I often get mail addressed to anyone on that street.
I have come to think that every time postage is increased, the delivery gets poorer. I believe as soon as standard postage goes to 50 cents, we will have to deliver the mail ourselves. LOL

extexbill - I have come to think that every time postage is increased, the delivery gets poorer.
You are so right! The other day, all the mail was delivered wrong by one house. We had to exchange our mail. The problem? They were short-handed and had to use temporary delivery people. WTF? Temps? No wonder I only get some of the mail I'm supposed to and the rest goes missing. It's either lining someone's pockets or is resting on the dining room table of someone who lives miles from here.
Edited to add: Fluffy, you were right to give her her money back. With the way eBay is restricting accounts, we can't take a chance. eBay has put us at the mercy of the buyers. You'd think that the buyers were paying Meg's salary instead of the sellers. While I agree that there are bad sellers on eBay that need to be kicked off, the way they are going about it doesn't make sense. Small volume sellers are particularly vulnerable.
Check out this feedback (and they're still going strong): http://tinyurl.com/ywqoer. I guess as long as you are making eBay money, anything goes.

Here's another bidder you need to know about. Loves leaving negs and neutrals for sellers and emails lots of threats. Doesn't seem to "get" that international mail may take a while; her last neg was left only 11 days after auction end. (Seller is in Thailand.)
She started bugging me two days after auction end on one item. On the second, she informed me she would pay in three weeks.

Chronologically? Who knows.
Emotionally? Your assessment is spot-on.
She bought a piece of jewelry 7/11. I shipped it 7/11. The threatening emails started 7/13.
I think what amazes me is that with nutbars like her, it's always "WHEN are you going to ship my item?" Six times today so far. She was sent a shipping notification on 7/11. But because she doesn't have the jewelry yet, that means I haven't shipped it. I'm withholding her baba. I'm so mean.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of these gems actually cry and pound their desk in frustration. Wish I could be there to see it.
