Someone just posted this link to changes to German ebay site - sellers fees REDUCED and gallery is INCLUDED...I suppose it would be too much to hope....

I also suspect eBay's market research shows that buyer's prefer to see gallery pics for all items, similar to formats in other venues. (I participated in one of their surveys a few years ago, when I bought more than I sold and this was definitely a topic of concern to eBay). Ticklish for eBay- it would probably increase the FVF's but they are making big money on gallery. Maybe they thought eBay Express would solve it -NOT! I predict a raise to $.50 listing fees for items in the 9.99 range with gallery included.

My guess is that they will charge $.35 for listing items priced up to $9.99 with gallery - no relist credits.

Seems like great savings, since most people use gallery, but the real catch is no free relist since you did not pay for listing, listing was free. You paid for gallery and you never get credit for upgrades. So, is it really a savings?? I guess not if your item does not sell the first time.

I used to sell a huge amount of coins to Great Britain and Germany. 50 g's one yr alone.

Then they (ebay) started their improvements on these sites and now you can't even give things away.

People can blame pay pal , shipping cost fraud etc, but the real culprit is e-bay.

They have done all they can do to completely screw up international sales.

I have even gone to selling direct to these markets and still nothing.
The customer base has moved on to something else. With the exchange rate on US money currently 3RD world rate, I should be selling everything that i could find. but you can not even get a best offer from Europe right now.

Also part of my overall point, although I did forget to mention this earlier.
