Because their local department store wouldn't accept a return without a receipt.

He just left me feedback...
Negative feedback TERRIBLE QUALITY/ WILL LOSE MONEY IF RETURNED/VERY SLICK
Guess he wanted me to pay him back the shipping
and pay for the shipping of the bracelet back to me......even the Gap don't give you back shipping if you decide you don't like what you bought.

Since he left the feedback, I assume(I know, I know) the transaction is over. So, you swallow the neg, keep their money and move on.

So have you left your feedback yet?? did they pay by Paypal? They may try to do a not as described routine. I just won my dispute at paypal over a brand new wig. However, I have to inquire what Paypal will do if she paid with her credit card.
This is the reason why I stopped leaving feedback first. You will always have a crazy come up with some lame excuse later to cause you grief.

Hi Toni!
I'd go ahead and leave him neg feedback now.
Something factual ~ to the tune of:
After 17days,claims wife's neck 2small.Msrmts listed.Offered refund.Buyer refused.
Then wait a week and file for mutual feedback withdrawal.
Seems like these people suffer from buyers remorse, they will most likely succomb to feedback remorse as well.
(if you're a feedback kinda person)
You will bury the comment, they will wear it for a while and hopefully realize that feedback is a tool, not a weapon.

Hi Zoomin,
The problem is about a bracelet, this is the email from the buyer,
I purchased item # 260192041183. Both my wife and I are unhappy with the bracelet. Very poor quality. It is not much money but never the less not what I would expect from a good E-Bay dealer. Please let me know what we can do to resolve this problem.
He's the one who left the Neg FB, and he took 17 days to tell me the bracelet was GARBAGE....

Hi Toni!
Guess I got confused by the comment in the thread referring to a buyer with a small neck ~ thought that was part of the same transaction.
I would still post a neg for them.
"BLOCK THIS BIDDER. Offered a refund, chose to NEG Seller instead!"
Same deal, wait about a week then file for mutual feedback withdrawal.
When you file, you are given the opportunity for comments so you can explain to the bidder
(Sorry you were unhappy with your purchase. Even after you waited over two weeks to contact me, I still altered my policy to offer you a full refund. Wish you would've chosen to work through this with me rather than leave negative feedback.)
