Mybid you can whine all you want. The louder the better, just bring cheese and crackers so we can giggle and snack while we watch you whine.

Just checking to see how you guys are doing-
I don't smoke but oh how I want you to win.
I just hate the people who sell that crap and make money on harming people. It was such a barrier between my mother and I because I could not go to her house for more than about 20 minutes before I was wheezing with an asthmatic attack.
I don't know WHY thy don't have a residential
treatment for tobacco. I mean you can go to a fat farm for a week or two and get a good start on turning around a weight problem away from all the usual access and triggers to eat you have at home! Seems like someone should offer it but I have never heard of one.

Hi my pals who are all doing much better at this than I am.  But I really do want to do this with you. I really do. I am SO proud of you all and I want SO much to do as well as you're doing.
HOW do you get through an unusually stressful
situation and not smoke? I not only fell off the horse, I jumped off and ran away from it today all together. I am embarrassed to admit but I feel very weak right now, at a very low point. I wish I would've stuck it out with you guys.
My ex (who unfortunately LIVES with me) was supposed to be helpful and supportive. But noooo... she informed me tonight (I have NO idea why she thinks I needed this information) that she has slept with SIX people since we broke up in August. Now I ask you, did I really need to hear this?? This set me off big time. I cannot blame someone else for my addiction and I don't mean to imply that in the slightest. I am just wondering HOW do you not smoke while you are already on your last nerve, and then someone comes along and drops a BOMB like that on you. Sigh. Anger anger anger and then BANG I light up. I think it was cruel and I don't understand her motives. To get a reaction? To make me jealous? To "prove" to me that I can't quit smoking?? I am just sick to my stomach tonight angry and hurt. And I am smoking my F*(&IN brains out. I feel like she won and Phillip Morris won and I am losing. I am ANGRY and I don't want to ruin this for myself and I don't wanna let my ex get to me! WHO was it that mentioned they feel like smoking is "doing something for themselves"? THAT is how I feel, no matter how much I know RATIONALLY this is not true. I feel like "Well, I'm not on tour right now and I'm not on many gigs now and I am not with my girlfriend anymore, and the only thing I have is cigs." AS IF this is something good??? This is so sick. My addiction is having a FIELD day with me right now. Can ya tell?

OOPS sorry for that rant, guys. I think I can turn this thing around. Anger can really motivate me, so, maybe this will actually give me the determination I need to try again and do it this time. I will NOT GIVE IN TO "EXCUSES" to smoke. I wil not let anyone or anything interfere. I am going to start fresh tomorrow ok? I am really going to take ahold of this. I am not at the mercy of anyone else, I am in control of my own situation. (I say this over and over to REMIND myself.)

No I don't drink at all. But I understand how they seem to go hand in hand. I gave up drinking 15 years ago but could never kick the cigs. (Yet, that is.) Yes I am always in one band or project or another. Right now I'm only in one band that doesn't play full time yet, and also waiting waiting waiting for 1. Another tour, a rock musical I'm with that will HOPEFULLY go back out in a couple months and 2. A film in the works where I am one of the lead characters and lead guitarist (all female rock musical) and I sit around while they do all the contract crap and work it all out, etc. (The boring part I know nothing about and don't care to!)
Then I get my lawyer to READ the contract when it's FINALLY done! (Looking at my watch!)
