OK, I am confused. Today is 3/30, the day of BIG CHANGE!! I went to experiment and list a few auction items at 99 cents to get the free listing and guess what!! is shows as 10 cent insertion fee. Does the month not start until 4/1 (April Fool) or what?? I see all of the pictures are now free including categories where they were not free before and the tab for store listings is gone, but what about the free insertion for items under a dollar!!

Do you have a store Merrie? You don't get the free auctions if you have a store.

So anyone who has multiple seller IDs can flood the market with hundreds of 99 cents items every month and never have to pay listing fee.
If it sells, these sellers pick up a few cents ,if they dont sell, they have nothing to lose but their time.
If Ebay is happy earning FVF from 99 cents listing, more power to its shareholders!

hwahwa:I KNOW it is for AUCTION listings under a dollar. That is what I tried to do.
After looking at the new fee structure again, it looks like STORE SELLERS do NOT get the free listing. The FVF for the free listing is 9%. For store sellers you pay 10 cents listing for items under a dollar and FVFs are lower and all pictures are free.

Hi neglus: missed your post, you are right. That is what I just discovered. Why do things need to be so complicated??
