kelagedart when did this happen? Just curious because 2 days ago you had auctions running.

It was about 2 days ago. Right after the fiasco about the charity pulling out due to some messages on a 'hidden' Singles Chat board that they could not even delete right.
Before I told them off I deleted all my auctions there.

I have written AW on that very topic. I get my topic, locked and deleted, but that one just keeps on going. I was given a lame excuse. Seems like they are showing us who their favorites are! Rules are rules but don't apply to everyone.

Welcome to AuctionWatch kelagedart. I am sorry to have deleted your promotional post but it is against the CG's to post in that manner. Saying something in a *non-promotional* way doesn't necessarily make it so.

We just don't allow discussion from other boards to be brought to this board, plain and simple. It isn't fair to discuss other people from other boards, it's just plain bad manners. Discussion going on at other boards really belongs on those boards.
We are allowing that one positive thread to stand and as long those posting to it stay within the CG's it will remain.
It is not an exclusive thread. Anyone can post to it.

I was not *promoting* anything. I simply suggested that a certain newsgroup on USENET might allow freer expression of ideas. It is NOT a competitor with AW so you people need not feel threatened.
USENET is NOT going to steal away your business. So can you please tell me what CG this suggestion might violate, and if you can't find one, then please let me post the name of the newsgroup.
