Mtnmama, you are not to use my name! You better edit out my last name and I have a print out of this. Your so called "friends" have informed me, but that's peronal business, and I will not post it here, you are welcome to let everyone know, though. Also, I doubt your husband is in the legal field. By your website, I REALLY doubt it! Heck, I can be wrong, and if I am, oh well. But anyway, these are my "opinions" like the ones you have stated before, right? Anyway, you both are talking about stuff that has nothing to do with buying.
Have a great night, all. I know I will! Off to a nice dinner with hubby and kids.

Edited out her last name, which I thought she used on this forum, because I can't see too well, being only the feeble mentality of a 12 year old.
Tatimpp, my website was a joke, a preface and follow up to a newsletter some very close friends and I used to do on the internet, called The Tripping Times. I did the website as a side-line for the stories we made up and Geocities liked it so much they made it a featured page. At one time, The Tripping Times was on that same page.
So, if you don't know me personally, don't believe everything you hear about me. I have no friends on BidBay, none at all, as is evident by their lack of support. I had one person whom I thought was a friend even before BidBay but found out she's no better than the rest.
Now if you want to pull apart my husband and what he does for a living, because you don't even know him or of him, go right ahead. And please tell these fine folks where you assume I work. I'm sure Auction Watch would love to hear it from your mouth.
And when my husband sees a print out of your posts I'm sure he'll know what to do with them.

I have a life too, do you have a life Allykat, mtnmama? Good, I guess we all do!
Talking to all of you fine people is one of the things, I enjoy. Some much more than others!

Deichen, no - I'm not a practicing attorney. The other half is a retired attorney though.
I'm retired from my chosen profession and will be going to work soon in another field with less stress.
But then again tatimpp knows what I do for a living and swears my dh couldn't be an attorney, so I think we should wait for her to tell us what she thinks she knows, huh?

BTW, I too buy and sell on BidBay. I have a world store for sale cheap! LOL! I've bought and still looking. So to say that people who don't utilize the site are making trouble, that's another untruth.
Where are the moderators? How could they let her get away with telling people she knows where I work and then bringing my husband into this in a derogatory way? This is shameful. She went completely and totally off topic and got really up close and personal! Threatening to say where I worked! Or just to say she knows is a threat to my safety and well being. Now I have to wonder which goon is going to be sent to my home!

as long as the goon isn't a pink poo you will be okay!!! LOL
YES I DO have a life!! and actually a very spoiled one. I have a cleaning lady, a manicurist, a massage therapist, a hair dresser, a personal trainer, and a wonderful husband of 30 years who worships me. I make lots of money from ebay and I have a nice home and a new vehicle. All I need is healthy kids, which I don't have but then you already read that this morning.

You call that a life? Sheesh get real, woman! You're still lacking a pool boy!
rofl
A pink poo? Is that like a pinkpro? Seriously one of the posters lives only a few hours from me and he's already been known to threaten others for nonpayment or not shipping his goods. He's been known to say he's going to knock on doors and show people the "way". That alone is scary. Because if she knows where I work, it's very easy to find out where I live and I don't think I want this particular goon to visit me. Actually he wouldn't want to visit, because I do have some surprises.

Getting back on the topic of buying at BidBay, here's another opinion to throw into the ring.
I personally have had many terrific buying experiences at BidBay. There are a lot of great deals to be had. Because sellers aren't paying FVF and listing fees, they can park their items at the site and offer lower pricing. I can't believe some of the deals I have been lucky enough to obtain.
Some of the things I have purchased for cash are packing materials, customized gifts, books, toys, movies, doll magazines, crafts, candles, collectibles and jewelry. Although I don't know the figure offhand, I know I've spent hundreds of dollars there. (I primarily sell, so I feel this is a decent figure.)
I don't bid on overpriced items. I buy from sellers with 0 ratings and I buy from sellers with 1000+ ratings. The only bad experiences I've had with sellers are ones who take a few weeks to ship and those who ship items which smell like smoke but haven't been disclosed as being from a smoking household. Unfortunately that happens at every site I've ever done business on.
On the selling side, I have had many repeat customers cross over from eBay to BidBay. Although I sell at multiple sites, I can sell less expensively at BidBay and offer better pricing for my dolls, beanies and collectibles customers. Although my quantity of buyers isn't the same at BidBay as eBay, I do have a lot of repeat business and oftentimes one order turns into a long-term customer and a friend.
The buyers I've had the pleasure to work with have been 95% FANTASTIC. I would proudly call them business friends. I get an occasional deadbeat bidder but this year it's the EXCEPTION rather than the rule. Last year, the ratio was a little higher but it's been a couple months since I haven't had someone follow through from the buying side. I have had the privilege to do business with some of the community members and almost all of them have been a real delight to work with.
There are some very fine people in the BidBay Community and I am happy to be doing business there. I wish the people who choose to do business at BidBay every success. If you choose to sell/buy elsewhere, I hope you're successful as well.
Best wishes,
Karen

LovesBidBay? LOL! I know your style and I never said I was a lawyer, did I? You and your cronies love to assume!
Go back to your corner and drink some more of that flavoraide will ya. I know Koolaide has gotten too expensive for your leader. Flavoraide is more his style, watered down drivel.
I think if you're going to post here, you'd drop the LOL! at every sentence. It's such a give-a-way!

Allykat,
I can't swim either! I flunked swimming lessons in 3rd grade. Probably had something to do with the fact that I would not jump into the water. I clung to that chain link fence.
