Look at it this way - you're getting all of your bad luck over with now and the rest of your life will be smooth sailing from here on in

Speaking of dentists - I went last year for the first time in 12 years. I will only go if I absolutely have to... and I had to last year - my first filling. It was so painful! It was in one of the only teeth that they can't fully numb before drilling etc. I ain't going back in a hurry!

Ok, now you have me curious...which tooth is it they can't fully numb?? I'm thinking someone has been telling you fibs maybe...

Gosh, I sure hope you're right on that luck thing! The good news of the week is hubby & brother's business is now set up to accept credit cards. And no, I don't mean PayPal, LOL! The website will go live very soon.

It's not the ones right in the front (rabbit's teeth for want of a better term) but the ones either side of those - between the rabbit's teeth and the fangs. I believe him though... I kept begging for more drugs but he said he had already given me the maximum dosage allowed... Absolute torture!

What business is hubby in? You might have told me a while back but I'm not too sure...

Me thinks he wasn't putting the shot in the right place! No kidding, the last filling I had was on one of those and it wasn't bad. I forgot about that one, it was in the middle of getting the last crown. I hadn't had a cavity since I was 11!

They're selling computer systems. I know the market is slowing, but I'm hoping they make a bundle! I want a housekeeper, LOL.

I didn't get to go last week as they didn't have enough stock so they had to cancel! I know that they won't have one this Tuesday either as they are gearing up for a huge one on the following Sunday (and I'm working too dammit! )

I'm having a week off selling as a result. I've found a few interesting sites on the internet where I may be able to pick up some interesting bits and pieces - will just have to see how it pans out.

Long and very hot! It was about 43-44 Clesius here the last couple of days. We've had 3 straight days of record breaking highs. Mom and I ran errands all afternoon and have more tomorrow.

Oh, and I bit on that tooth wrong at lunch and about went through the roof!

As you know, I like golf. Here's a funny golfing story.

A couple of women were playing golf one sunny Saturday morning. The first of the pair teed off then watched in horror as her ball headed directly towards a group of four men playing at the next hole. Indeed, the ball hit one of the men, and he immediately clasped his hands together at his crotch, fell to the ground, and proceeded to roll around in evident agony.

The woman rushed to the man and immediately began to apologize. She said "Please allow me to help. I'm a physical therapist and I know I could relieve your pain if you'd allow."

"Ummph, oooh, nnooo, I'll be all right .... I'll be fine in a few minutes," he replied breathlessly as he remained in the foetal position, still clasping his hands together at his crotch.

But she persisted, and he finally allowed her to help him. She gently took his hands away and laid them to the side, loosened his pants, then put her hands inside. She began to massage him.

When she had finished she asked "How does that feel?".

He replied, "It feels great, but my thumb still hurts like hell!"

Hi everyone, I am not really here tonight. Sshhh don't tell my husband, he has just ducked out for a minute and I thought I would say hello. It is our 22nd Anniversary today, so I promised my time to him.

We have been super busy so if I am not about much you will know why. Today was a very hectic day, this morning was flat strap busy and then this afternoon I baby sat for my sister, and then my daughter bought dinner for us as an anniversay present.

Bob glad to see you are back in form.

Well I am off again. I may get back in tomorrow, it really depends on how tired I am. Behave while I am out of the room.

The thought of it still makes me shudder!
Funnily enough, in the UK, they refer to doing a spell in jail as "doing porridge".
Both are pretty awful!

And just how did you come by that bit of information Bob?
Did you hear my one piece of good news this week? I won a digital camera on a site where I play games. Well, it arrived today! They said it would take 6-8 weeks and it was here within a week. Gee, I wish some eBay sellers were like that! LOL I took some test shots in the house tonight. I'm not terribly thrilled with the quality (it's a cheapie) but it might do in a pinch some day!

That's good news mouse. If it's not up to doing what you need you could always put it up for auction. There's always plenty of folks looking for something basic.

You know it was so quick Pharlap? It was sent from my city, so it didn't have far to go.

That was my second thought Bob! LOL Ever the seller looking for something to sell.
